We'd like to remind you that the deadline of AMV contest of Newcon PDX convention (Portland, Oregon) is close. You can still enter your videos before November 19th. Any AMV is acceptable, regardless of age. Participants and winners of other contests are also good. The only restriction is for AMVs which were already shown at previous Newcons. Each participant can submit up to 4 videos. Winners will be rewarded with anime merchandise and DVDs.

Please read the rules carefully, there are many important nuances!

Rules of contest rules (English)

AMVNews.ru holds the sixth thematic contest of Level Up series. The main idea behind the contest is to join forces of pro and novice music video creators and make them work in pairs. Partners exchange experience, and novice gains new skills in video making from his/her "elder" teammate, thus increasing his/her level drastically. As the previous contests (2009, 2011,  2012, 2013 и 2014) showed, this concept draws much interest of creators as well as of viewers' audience.

Thе contest is opened for pairs of AMV makers, Pro (experienced and acknowledged creator) + Novice (a beginner without significant achievements). A team’s goal is to create a small AMV through joint efforts, with the assumption that Pro doesn’t do editing and does not work on effects but does what he/she can to support the Novice technically.

Novice’s duties include: project settings adjustment, clips cutting, making of effects, AMV encoding.

Pro’s duties include: thinking the AMV concept over together with Novice, software using advice, advice on effects making, help in searhing for sources, beta testing, advice on video encoding, video upload and filling in the site form.

AKROSS project officially announces 13th International AMV Contest "AKROSS Con 2014"! The event will be held from October 2014 to January 2015.

Free Zone 2014 first round voting is over. 53 persons took part in the voting. Tse same set of jury are eligible for voting in the finals. This year the voting is totally voluntary. You must fill in all slots when filling in the voting form. Voting deadline is October 23rd, 20.00 Moscow time (UTC+4). See below the list of finalists in all nominations, ranged by publication date.

We begin first round voting of AMVNews: Free Zone 2014. 68 videos took part in the contest. 11 contest videos rated lower than 3 points were excluded from voting. All 53 contest participants whose AMVs are eligible for the first round can take part in the voting now, as well as 28 jury members (Turbo, Galia and Kitty, altermann, S.A. Robert, Leonifa, trampler, LIA, KG7x, welivetoday, Carpet-man, MIBIHA, Amy Lee, leon.by, NewOvermind, TritioAFB, uncinx, maxximm, Fox114, lokkiclu, katalex, Theredflash66, MigeL, Lady_MooN, Daru, EvilSpiritAmvs, GINBR:), Alina Vega, RiceAMV). Voting in first round is totally voluntary. There are 5 contest nominations to vote in. Finalists in each nomination will be chosen during first round voting. First round voting ends October 19th, 12-00 Moscow time (UTC+4). Link for voting form can be found in "Authorization" block, right upper corner of the webpage. You can fill in the form, add and change anything as much as you want till the end of voting period. Contest participants do not see their own videos in the list and can't vote for them.

Организаторы ежегодного аниме-фестиваля Anime Factor (г. Хабаровск) напоминают, что завтра - последний срок для подачи клипов на конкурс AMV в рамках фестиваля. Принимаются работы, ранее не участвовавшие в аналогичных конкурсах города Хабаровска и не занимавшие призовые места в аналогичных конкурсах фестивалей России. Клипы-призеры будут показаны на большом экране фестиваля

Заявки на конкурс подаются через форму сайта организаторов. После окончания срока подачи заявок в течение 10 дней (до 10 октября) допускается досылать материалы к уже поданным заявкам.

Организаторы фестиваля Они но Ёру (г. Москва) приглашают всех желающих принять участие в конкурсе фанвидео в рамках фестиваля. На конкурс принимаются видеоработы по восточноазиатским исходникам (Япония, Китай, Корея). Это касается видеоряда, аудиоряд может быть любой. Могут быть поданы работы, уже участвовавшие в аналогичных конкурсах, за исключением конкурсов на аниме фестивалях.
Заявки на участие в конкурсе принимаются до 29 сентября через электронную форму. От одного участника в конкурс фанвидео может быть принято на рассмотрение не более трёх заявок. Принята к участию из них может быть только одна.

All Free Zone 2014 entries have been submitted. It's time for intermediate results. We've got quite a lot of videos, 69 exactly. 48 of those are exclusive ones and 21 have already been shown online before. But this rate still can change before the showcase period ends. 42 entries fron Russian-speaking authors, 27 from foreign ones. 19 new authors took part in the contest (the ones whose videos have never been shown at AMVNews before). We wish luck to all contestants! Experienced creators are welcome to join our judges: submit application. 

22-23 ноября 2014 года. пройдет восьмой фестиваль Dai-Fest (г.Омск). Организаторы приглашают всех желающих принять участие в конкурсе AMV в рамках фестиваля. На конкурс принимаются работы, сделанные не ранее 1 января 2014 года (более ранний срок допустим только для работ, которые не были нигде показаны / выложены для публичного доступа). При решении о принятии работы на конкурс при прочих равных условиях предпочтение отдаётся видео, ранее не показанному на каких-либо фестивалях и онлайн-конкурсах (обязательным условием это не является).

В призовой фонд войдет эксклюзивная (изготавливается в единственном экземпляре специально для победителей некоторых конкурсов фестиваля) подарочная фигурка (выглядит например так) и различные анимешные сувениры.

Приём работ начнётся в октябре и продлится до 16 ноября.
