Комментарий авторов: Hi guys! So here's an AMV mash-up using 50 anime episodes and movies that aired or premiered in 2015, paired with 50 hit songs from 2015. You're gonna need this handy-dandy spreadsheet to see the full list of anime and music, along with specific air dates.
Five years ago, Kitsuner came up with the idea to use one of DJ Earworm's United State of Pop mash-ups with anime of the same year. He was making the video for a convention and under a deadline, so he brought me on board to help him out. The finished product was Blame It On 2009: A Good Good Year. People have been asking us to make another ever since. We actually tried to make a sequel with a third collaborator at one point, but it didn't come together too well and we ultimately scrapped it.
We saw that this year DJ Earworm's mix featured a crazy FIFTY songs, so we decided now was the time to tackle it. It took a lot of planning as we wanted to try something a little different (Spreadsheets....spreadsheets everywhere!) This time around, we wanted to pair the anime and music in such a way that when you saw a certain anime, you'd always hear the same song. This meant we needed to pick apart the mash-up and individually label each different song, then decide which anime from 2015 we wanted to pair it up with, based on the scenes we knew were available or just the overall theme. Some songs were more prevalent in the mix, others were shorter. We even made a spreadsheet with just lyrics so that we'd know what we needed to look for when clip hunting. (Here's a screenshot to give you an idea). This video took roughly two weeks of planning and two weeks of actual editing. Anyway, 2015 was a pretty cool year and I hope you guys enjoy this video!

Hello guys! So here's my clip for the IC organised by the Crows Team, it's my first Fun AMV and honestly, I really liked to edit in this category. This category is not like the others, in Fun, you are free to do what you want to. You can place some incrusts of cat anywhere you want without a reason and it does not matter because it's fun ahahah! I really liked this side and it also allowed me to place some weird things.
Finally, I'm very proud of this clip a little WTF. I think that I will make more Fun clips in the futur, it's very fun to let our crazy imaginations doing this kind of AMV. But I'm still aware that it's simple, but I wanted to change from my others AMV with a lot of overlays and of explosives scenes so I hope that you will like it!

Некоторое время назад на нашем форуме стартовал проект "MEP из 100 клипмейкеров". Если вы - один из участников проекта или желаете примкнуть к созданию этого MEP'a в будущем, то это объявление для вас.

Для решения организационных вопросов, касающихся проекта, создана группа Вконтакте и скайп-чат. Вплоть до воскресенья, 31 января, в группе можно предложить музыку для проекта (выложить на стену) и идеи для разработки концепта MEP'a (постить в специальную тему). После 31 января будет проведено голосование по предложенным идеям, на основе результатов голосования будет строиться дальнейшая работа. Организаторы просят участников MEP'a активно участвовать в обсуждении, поскольку после голосования предложения о кардинальном изменении концепта не будут больше рассматриваться, и начнется непосредственно работа над проектом.

Author's comment:   Всем здрасьте~ В очередной раз откачиваю переизбытки приподнятости от возможности поучаствовать в АКРОСС-Коне. В этом году таки смог. В своей новой работе я решил соприкоснуться с достаточно непривычным и малознакомым мне жанром. Последние пару лет проработал преимущественно над сентименталами и инструменталами, в этот же раз занялся экшеном – но таким, чтоб в моем духе и с непременным присутствием сюжетной составляющей, без которой лично для себя создание клипов я не представляю. Работать над ним оказалось не менее приятно, нежели над тем же «Усатым карнавалом» или «Внутри и снаружи». Выполнен клип на песню одной из старейших японских рок-групп, берущей свое начало еще в далеких 70-х. Ох уж, эти их соляки. Ребята настолько меня затащили с этой песней, что не отпустили, пока её не отмучил. Теперь Кими свободен :D Ну и думаю, конкурсу в принципе не помешает немного ретро-звука. Конечно же, хочу пожелать всем конкурсантам удачи, выдержки и свежих впечатлений~

Annual contest of fan-made videos CreaCon 2016 has officially started. Entries accepted from March 15th till April 1st, 2016. Any kind of exclusive fan-made videos can be entered, the ones made of movies, TV series, games, sport shows, as well as self-shot footage and original 3D. The one main restriction concerns anime music videos: those are not accepted because CreaCon was originally created as an alternative to AMV contests.
