Comments on site are post-moderated which means you can see the comment right after the publication. Moderator has the right to delete your comment or part of your comment without notification is case you violate the rules below. After numerous violations your account can be banned or permanently deleted from site.
In comments you are forbidden to:
- Overuse coarse language and abuse (both explicitly and implicitly). If your thoughts can't be expressed without strong language, perhaps it's better not to express them at all.
- Write in all caps, overuse abbrevations and acronyms, deliberately break language norms.
- Insult creators and other users. Please avoid personal attacks. Abuse is not a reason for discussion. Talk substance, discuss videos and other materials, not creators and commentators in person.
- Complain about the quality of videos in brutal manner or without giving any reasons. This rule is particularly important when dealing with videos in Exam section. Would-be creators come for advice, not for abuse. If you have nothing to say, better remain silent.
- Write off topic, resort to flaming and trolling. Add the same message to several differernt topics.
- Manipulate user rating by downvoting and upvoting comments.
- Post adverts of any kind. Post links to porno sites.
- Use indecent images for avatar.
- Pretend to be administrator or moderator. Sabotage the actions of administration as well as call for such sabotage in public.
- Post comments violating the legislation of Russian Federation, in particular concerning the incitement of ethnic, religious or any other hatred.
Administration likes the kind of comments in which:
- User’s opinion of a video is reasonably expressed.
- Video is analyzed thoroughly and in detail, its strenghts and weaknesses are indicated.
- Some additional information is provided concerning the video or material in question (for example, the list of contests in which the video participated, some sources not indicated in the description, etc.)
- Any kind of mistakes are pointed out if these happen to be in news, descriptions or other materials in question.
- Questions of other users are answered if these questions are not off topic.
These rules can be changed and amended without prior notification. |
