We begin first round voting of AMVNews: Mixed Reality 2023. 28 videos took part in the contest. 1 contest video rated lower than 2.67 points was excluded from voting. All contest participants whose AMVs are eligible for the first round can take part in the voting now, as well as 6 jury members. Voting in first round is totally voluntary.
There are 2 contest nominations to vote in. Some of those include all videos, others include only the videos which match the nomination thematically. Finalists in each nomination will be chosen during first round voting. First round voting ends November 14th, 12-00 Moscow time (UTC+3). Link for voting form can be found in "Authorization" block, right upper corner of the webpage. You can fill in the form, add and change anything as much as you want till the end of voting period. Contest participants do not see their own videos in the list and can't vote for them.

Team "AMV Cuba" announces the “Runner Contest” already in the 3rd edition: Runner Contest - HeatPulse 

This year we have interesting and new changes and the debut of our discord server, also, this will be our first international contest!

The jury for the contest will be:

⁃ TritioAFB: Great editor from here LATAM and staff of ZonaAMV one of the biggest community of LATAM AMV Editors.

Nan Desu Kan, one of the 10 biggest anime conventions in USA is now taking submission for 2023 AMV contest. Get your videos in for a chance to win a world famous "Asuka" award! Non-exclusive videos created after September 1st, 2022 are accepted in case those didn't participate in Nan Desu Kan before. Collabs and MEPs are accepted too! Submission deadline is August 19th, 2023.

The Mixed Reality 2023 contest is a general-themed contest with no restrictions on the genre or subject, but in order to diversify and make the contest more interesting, we offer an additional experimental nomination - a video created using AI.

Each participant who wants to be nominated for the best use of AI must submit the making of or describe in detail the technologies used and the AI part in total must exceed more than 30% of the clip.

Let us remind you that only exclusive videos are eligible for this contest (i.e it's forbidden to release your video anywhere on the internet before it is shown at Mixed Reality 2023). Registration is opened till the submission deadline. You can register via on-line form; the account at AMVNews is required for registration. Entries accepted July 1st till October 1st, 2023. Prizes are reserved for winners.

7 contest participants whose videos are nominated in at least one category and 6 members of specially selected jury are eligible for voting in the finals. Voting in second round is obligatory for contestants. If a contestant fails to vote in the category where his/her video is nominated, then the total amount of points that this video gets shall be decreased by a maximum number of points possible for this category. It can affect final rating substantially. You must fill in all slots when filling in the voting form. Voting deadline is June 16th, 15.00 Moscow time (UTC+3)

Big Contest 2023 first round voting is over. 38 persons took part in the voting, 28 videos passed to the second round in main nomination. To pass to the finals a video should have gathered no less than 6 votes. Details about second tour voting will be available soon.
