Big Contest 2017 first round voting is over. 64 persons took part in the voting, 33 videos passed to the second round in main nomination. To pass to the finals a video should have gathered no less than 7 votes. Details about second tour voting will be availabale soon. We begin first round voting of AMVNews: Big Contest 2017. 74 videos took part in the contest. 14 contest videos rated lower than 2.75 points were excluded from voting. All 60 contest participants whose AMVs are eligible for the first round can take part in the voting now, as well as 38 jury members (Turbo, KG7x, Artofeel, redbull, DiGiCyber011, denismax, Sagiki, IrenSS, uncinx, Daru, miyase, pic4arts, L33tamv, Commander_Kyon1212, iris-am, PIKAPIKA, TritioAFB, MapleMAD, Autumnhert, Fury, Tesc, -Kisagi-, leon.by, XEnforcer, IdiAlex, Eazy, Lion0608, Hoshirogi, NicoKun, Lucifer@MV, Fobos, mwDeus, Chono, AntaresHeart07, Armresling, Leegf, Aoimina, Fox114). Voting in first round is totally voluntary.
There are 15 contest nominations to vote in. Some of those include all videos, others include only the videos which match the nomination thematically. Finalists in each nomination will be chosen during first round voting. First round voting ends May 21th, 18-00 Moscow time (UTC+4). Link for voting form can be found in "Authorization" block, right upper corner of the webpage. You can fill in the form, add and change anything as much as you want till the end of voting period. Contest participants do not see their own videos in the list and can't vote for them.

Finalists of the 10th anniversary competition of videoclips CreaCon 2017 were published (videos use "non-anime" sources). This year, a record was set for the number of participants. In total 59 videos were sent to the contest. Therefore, 29 participants got into finals in the main category this year. Details are provided below.
WeeklyAmvContest project invites you to join a series of small Youtube-based contests. Organizers will provide you with a new anime series each week, which is allready pre-cut, and ready to edit. You then have 1 week to edit the clips you're given, and submit that edit within 1 week. It's a good chance for everyone who'd like to edit a video without spending too much time on pre-editing preparations.
Submission form is released together with the video pack. The top 10 amvs of every week will be uploaded to WeeklyAmvContest channel. Contact the organizers in Discord for any questions!

AMV France and Japan Expo invite you to take part in annual AMV contest Japan Expo 2017. The contest is open for everyone, one AMV per participant. Remember, that only exclusive videos are good for Japan Expo! Submission deadline in June 5th, 2017, you can fill in the form first and upload your video later. Results will be announced at Japan Expo convent (7-9th July), and various prizes are waiting for winners.
