AMVNews.ru holds summer thematic AMV competition Mix Con 2015. Each participant is expected to create one single video in one of three proposed categories:
Retro
Works in this genre are to be created of anime released before 2000 or of music released before 2000. For music, you can check the release date here: Last.FM, also it’s possible to look for the release date in tags of mp3 file or simply google it. Release date of anime can be found here: anidb.net. Indicate anime and music release year when filling in the submission form. Examples: Believe (anime release year: 1997 – 1998, music release year: 1998)
Summer Fun
This category includes light, fun, comedy videos and also dance videos. It doesn’t really matter how you make the audience smile – jokes, parodies, absurd or silly humor, anything will do. Examples: Comedy/Fun section
Freedom
Works in this category must be made with music which can be downloaded legally for free. Possible sources of such music: Creative Commons List, FreeMusicArchive, SoundCloud, MachinimaSound, Kroogi.com (russian tracks). Indicate link to the music track in submission form. Make a screenshot of the page with the track just in case the author decides to remove the composition or change its status.
Let us remind you that only exclusive videos are eligible for this contest (i.e it's forbidden to release your video anywhere on the internet before it is shown at MixCon). Registration is opened till the submission deadline. You can register via on-line form; the account at AMVNews is required for the registration. Entries accepted fron August 1st till September 10th, 2015.
Prize fund:
A prize of 2000 roubles shall be given to winners in each category. In addition each winner shall recieve a statuette.

A fifth installment of Project Org Editor contest is about to begin! Project Org Editor is a widely known and extremely popular AMV event that has produced many outstanding videos throughout the previous years. It's a video editing contest that puts editors against each other in a weekly competition for the span of several months. Each week’s competition has a unique “theme” on how editors should edit their video. This year the contest consists of 8 rounds (6 preliminaries, semifinals and finals) without registration deadline - anyone can enter the competition at any point during the preliminary rounds.
Prize support for the competition is provided by MomoCon.
Round 1 begins July 6th, the contest will last till the middle of September.

31 contest participants whose videos are nominated in at least one category and 31 members of specially selected jury (Avient, CityBE, KG7x, MatthewRoy, redbull, TritioAFB, kyssifur, Turbo, miyase, XEnforcer, Animan9, Axiles, Alina Vega, Daru, tan_elorn, Leberate, maxximm, LIA, Lion0608, Not found, ceddic, Fox114, Uniquevil, ElpsyC, Chono, Lady_MooN, Disengager, Яise, Leegf, Bill Ein, Radical_Yue) are eligible for voting in the finals. This year the voting is totally voluntary. You must fill in all slots when filling in the voting form. Voting deadline is June 22st, 10.00 Moscow time (UTC+4)

Big Contest 2015 first round voting is over. 56 persons took part in the voting, 24 videos passed to the second round in main nomination. To pass to the finals a video should have gathered no less than 11 votes. Details about second tour voting will be availabale tommorow. We begin first round voting of AMVNews: Big Contest 2015. 89 videos took part in the contest. 26 contest videos rated lower than 3 points were excluded from voting. All 63 contest participants whose AMVs are eligible for the first round can take part in the voting now, as well as 29 jury members (Avient, CityBE, KG7x, MatthewRoy, redbull, TritioAFB, kyssifur, Turbo, miyase, XEnforcer, Animan9, Axiles, Alina Vega, Daru, tan_elorn, Leberate, maxximm, LIA, Lion0608, Not found, ceddic, Fox114, Uniquevil, ElpsyC, Chono, Lady_MooN, Disengager, Яise, Leegf). Voting in first round is totally voluntary.
There are 16 contest nominations to vote in. Some of those include all videos, others include only the videos which match the nomination thematically. Finalists in each nomination will be chosen during first round voting.
First round voting ends June 16th, 20-00 Moscow time (UTC+4).
Link for voting form can be found in "Authorization" block, right upper corner of the webpage. You can fill in the form, add and change anything as much as you want till the end of voting period. Contest participants do not see their own videos in the list and can't vote for them.

ZonaAMV invites everyone to take part in 6th annual online contest GoldAMV. In this contest each participant takes the challenge of editing an AMV in a pre-selected genre (one single genre, different for every year). It's a good chance to try yourself in a new creative field) This year's category in Romance/Sentimental. You have quite a lot of time for editing: submission deadline is August 10th, 2015. The contest is opened for exclusive entries only!
There will be two winners (Judge's choice and Audience choice).Winners' videos will be shared in studio' social networks and published both on ZonaAMV website and in Hall of fame.

| Конкурс AMV на фестивале Natsu Nami 2015 |

 Организаторы пятого ежегодного аниме-фестиваля Natsu Nami (г. Одесса) приглашают всех желающих принять участие в конкурсе AMV в рамках фестиваля. К участию допускаются клипы, созданные не позднее 2014 года и ранее не занимавшие призовых мест на каких-либо конкурсах. Каждый участник может представить до 3 конкурсных работ.
Заявки на конкурс принимаются с 23 мая до 5 Июля 2015 года.
Для победителей конкурса предусмотрены призы. Главный приз - сертификат на сумму в 500 грн. на покупку аниме-фигурки в магазине Game Prize Magic.
