И еще одна пародия на трейлер "Мстителей", более близкая к киношному оригиналу, чем The New Avengers, прежде всего за счет более удачного подбора аниме.

Комментарий автора: Yay Tiger and Bunny! this was actually a lot harder than I expected. I was trying to match all of the sounds in the trailer with the movements from Tiger and Bunny, but sometimes I couldn't really find an appropriate scene ^^; I was also trying to make Sky high into Thor and Ben into Fury... but I couldn't find scenes that really worked to show those characters. Anyways, I'm still pretty happy with the result ^.^

Комментарий автора: 14th place at Japan Expo 2012.
I'm happy enough that it even got into finals to be honest so 14th place is even better than I hoped for. I saw this show a few weeks ago and really liked it so I thought I'd make a little tribute AMV for it considering there's barely any Tegami Bachi AMVs on here. JE's deadline was about 2 weeks away so I spent about 3 days (full days mind you) editing the base and another weekish for effects and touchups.
If you like this AMV I hope you'll go watch the anime! Or even read the manga. Either way is fine. It's such an underrated series so I hope this gives it more exposure!

Комментарий автора: Ещё Тургенев поднял тему в своем одноименном романе «Отцы и дети», где мы видим различие взглядов каждого из поколений. Молодым, часто свойственен юношеский максимализм, которым они руководствуются при выборе своего дальнейшего жизненного пути, зачастую не зная, что из себя представляет их будущая профессия в повседневности. Каков был бы наш ужас, если бы мы могли посмотреть в человека и увидеть в действительности, что он делает в своей специальности: другую сторону занятия, нервные срывы... И насколько больший испытали бы мы ужас, увидев себя самого в зеркале...

Комментарий автора (перевод): Идея этого клипа ненавязчиво преследовала меня с тех пор, как я услышал саундтрек к мультфильму «Как приручить дракона». Под эту мелодию так и просится понятное и последовательное повествование, и подходящие истории начали придумываться еще до того, как я увидел сам мультфильм. Мне давно хотелось рассказать историю, используя в качестве главного героя собирательный образ. Я решил, что буду брать в основном персонажей из аниме студии Ghibli и работ Сатоси Кона, поскольку они очень похожи друг на друга.

Над скоростью повествования также пришлось немало поразмыслить. Помню, что когда я был маленьким, дни текли медленно и приносили мало перемен. Теперь мне за тридцать, и порой кажется, что не успеешь и моргнуть, как пролетает неделя. Поэтому вставки из детства я решил сделать подлиннее, а дальше - чем старше, тем короче, вплоть до финала, где нужно будет завершить историю.

Комментарий автора: Before I thought of the idea for this video, a handful of Chop Suey/Eva videos had made their appearance at cons I attended and I didn't find them to be very good. One problem I felt was that it was such an obvious idea to use that combination that they really lacked creativity. 
As I was discussing this with a friend, we thought that if someone wanted to do a video with this song, they could at least try to use anime other than Evangelion. Another anime that dealt with angels, or perhaps, even an anime that didn't have anything to do with angels but related to the song in another way. We mentioned some anime like Angel Sancutary and Earthian.
At this point, I had no intention of making a Chop Suey video, since I didn't really like the song; I just felt like ranting. But then, I jokingly said, "Yeah, or someone could just use Angelic Layer." I wasn't serious since Angelic Layer is a cute shoujo anime and didn't think it matched a hardcore sounding song like Chop Suey. During the next few days, I started thinking about the idea and realized that it could be fun to present Angelic Layer in a manner so that it matched this song.

Клип по Soul Eater  на Хэллоуин - это уже далеко не оригинально, но все еще достаточно атмосферно. Особенно если учесть, что на этот раз в качестве музыкального сопровождения выступает главная тема из фильма Тима Бартона «Битлджус», сама по себе загадочно-гротескная, под стать аниме.

Комментарий автора: The inspiration of "Love Revolution" is owed to one person, fellow editor and friend Sephiroth. The choice of music came from watching the anime "NANA". At around episode 20 or so the opening theme changed to the song "Wish" by Olivia Lufkin. As soon as I heard it, it became an ear worm and I couldn't get it out of my mind. One afternoon as I was listening to it for the umpteenth time, for whatever reason I started thinking of some of some scenes I saw from Utena and then it hit me : "Why don't I do an AMV using this song and Utena and also do it in the weird art style that I saw for the box-sets?". The idea was too good to pass up and immediately became a priority.
