Classic is a MEP by the german community amvde. It was created by 11 editors between August and October and premiered at Connichi 2016. The main theme was summer, romance and girls. We chose a pretty straight forward song and focused mainly on the mood. Throughout the whole process we worked together very closely on all stages. This was a great experience since most of us never worked together on a MEP before. We hope you enjoy!

Комментарий авторов:  Heeey guys! Like every year we participated in an AMV contest for the AniNite - which is an Austrian anime convention! We had a few technical issues to deal with (Vegas was really terrible this time) and almost didn't make it in time - thank God we did finish it then! With this video, we wanted to express that even after a loved one's death, it is best to let go of your sadness and live on. That's exactly what the person who died would want you to do, to become happy again. Thus, it is perfectly okay to fall in love once more. We still cant believe we got 1st place and also the crowd pleaser price! Thank you so so much to the great audience at the Aninite! Author's comment: I had a lot of hassles or other issues with this video. I wanted to steer away from cosplay and that area of fandom to try and differentiate this video from Otaku Paradise, and had other videos that have used live action to great effect that I didn't want to feel like I was doing something too similar either. I was orginally going to just do an old school toonami anime nostalgia trip and remembered the The Absolution Flies On did that so I needed to change the scope to avoid that as well.
Also, being limited to stock footage I really couldn't do what I wanted to do with this video and the final shape ended up becoming more of a commercially weeby multi anime video. Which is what I was kinda steering for to begin with, but just wish I had some different live action sequences that could have sealed it together just a tad better.
