Идея клипа сразу же пришла мне в голову, когда я услышал песню Falling away from me. В мозгу сразу всплыл геймплей DMC3, а точнее то, во что он преврашяется на 5-6 прохождении и добивании SS на всех миссиях. Однако, как только мои руки дошли до создания клипа, идея несколько преобразовалась из создания простого мяса с моментами, когда Данте "забивают в землю" или он "забивает" других. В итоге, после длительного вступления, имеем пересказ основной сюжетной линии о противостоянии братьев, сдобренный сценами из других миссий и парочкой боссов. В целом, клип не блещет особыми спецэффектами, основной упор делался на синхру и передачу сюжета. Надеюсь, данное творение понравится фанатам серии, а также стороннему зрителю незнакомому с исходником.

PS: Отдельная благодарность моему другу, который потыкав меня мордой в грубые ошибки, заставил меня доваять клип до данной кондиции, которая представлена вам.

Комментарий автора: I started this video about a year ago, the project file got corrupted (the first time that had ever happened to me) and after all that work I was so upset I gave up. Then, I remembered what an awesome idea it was (and my editing skills had improved a bit) so I decided to give it another try. Project. File. Corrupted. Again. SO, I started over. File. Corrupted. Again. ONE MORE TIME. When I finished, I had 10 project files(not to mention Magix makes it's own back-ups of the project files, about 10 per project). All but one were corrupt. I just barely finished this beastly thing.

The video itself? Kinda hard to explain, because even I'm not sure exactly what it is. Some parts are semi-serious, some parts are funny. Myself, I find most of it funny. If you're familiar with the song, you'll know what I mean. Dre's parts are more on the serious side, and Eminem's are more humorous.

Thanks to all my beta testers (so many. I can't remember everyone I sent this to >_>). Thanks to Krat for the uncensored song and thanks to Kham for the end credit song. :-*

Synopsis: Dr.Stein is subject to hallucinations and nightmares where he see himself killing and slaughtering people with a evil pleasure. Sadly, it's not only a nightmare because his madness seems to materialize in reality, trying to get rid of him, the sane Stein. Here begins begins quest about Truth and Redemption, where Stein will learn that his worst ennemy... is probably himself.

Post-mortem: Here's actually my most worked AMV to date. The project occurred to me as a big fan of silent hill series, I wanted to try an anime version of the hero who fights against the physical manifestations of his remorse and his actions.
The audio and video source was generally overused,so I had to create a different AMV from what is usually seen. I noticed (unless I'm shitty in research) that no good amv had been done on the character of Stein and about his madness in the anime (which I think is more interesting to follow than his fights, even if they are nice.). but since the anime putting only snippets of passages (and an episode dedicated), I had to make a cross-over, where the various sources. it was not easy, especially as side contrast and colo, I did not know nothing about how to do it. but due to good advice, I tried to create a totally different thread (Elka who gets killed, Madam Demona to the crystal ball, Kishin in the hideout of the ball, the jail in the ghost town ...).some kind of original story without much spoil.

The name of the clip: Doppelgänger, which means "evil twin / waking double" in German, is a creature of international folklore, a kind of self-corrupt alter ego (and alittle inside joke to Oxide). Chronicles, because I would like to use the concept on future amvs, like the silent hill series,which inspired me. not absolute sequels, but new stories about the human psyche .

My vision of the clip? I think it's an interesting risk-taking, and I feel like I improved with, especially for color effects and on components... with very little acceleration than usual. I find however that the lack of rhythm clip (because of the music sometimes), It lacks "punch". Definitely something to see for the next.

So here, I hope you enjoy / have enjoyed the clip. I await your opinions.

ps: A reference to Iron Maiden is hiding in the clip, can you find it? 8D

A tribute to everyone's favorite word in the Japanese language. Gathering the clips for this video was a challenge. Eventually I hit upon an alternative to listening to the audio tracks of my entire anime collection. I ripped the subtitle track for select DVDs into text format, which gave me an English script with a time code for each line. Then I just did a text search for "stupid", "idiot" and "fool", and jumped to the relevant time code in the video file to see if the Japanese audio track contained the magic word.
