Выдержка из комментария автора: This one is a full hearted character profile (in spite of not having entered in that category at Akross...) The story is centered on the protagonist of the anime, Chihaya, her pursuit to become to best karuta player in Japan and the people she's being supported by. The anime plays with the thematics of facing challenges and overcoming oneself in quite a dramatic manner and I wanted to convey all of this in my video. My simple idea here was to depict Chihaya's devotion towards karuta and her loyalty to the people she's close to even though she might get hurt in the process (hence the title). This whole video was one big camera movement experiment for me. It was fun to play with them. Even if it made some people nauseous :3

My video for The Quickening Round 3, made in 3 days. I always wanted to use School Days, and recently i found it in 720p so i took the chance to use it. Not much to say about the video, i tried to use the source in a different way..and not end with the Makoto´s dead, for the rest the title explain everything i think... so enjoy!

Выдержка из комментария автора (перевод): Ну что же, впервые клип у меня получился достаточно хорошо, чтобы залить его на Орг... Серьезно, я очень доволен тем, как все вышло. Когда я впервые смотрел это аниме, оно меня полностью захватило - бросил все, чем занимался, и понял, что просто обязан сделать по нему клип. Все окончательно сложилось после того, как нашел эту песню, и в ходе работы над проектом меня практически все устраивало. Надеюсь, вам понравится - возможно, это не такой крутой клип, как большинство других представленных здесь работ, но для меня это серьезная веха в клипостроении.

Спасибо большое моему любимому Семпаю, которая всегда меня поддерживала и дала хорошего пинка для окончания ремастера.

Дружба - одно из самых лучших и чистых чувств на свете. А возможна ли дружба между человеком и духом? Возможна, если только соблюдать правила существования духа - не соприкасаться с человеком. Иначе ни духа, ни дружбы не будет. Но на сколько дорога эта цена, решать уже им. Чтож, так не будем же эгоистами и позволим дружбе быть!

I made this AMV for the 2013 Spring MondoCon 4th International AMV Contest. The idea was to harmonize the imagery and music as much as possible, in order to create captivating atmosphere which „charms” the viewers. The plot of the AMV shows the joint adventures of Natsume and Nyanko sensei (exclusively concentrating on their encounters with spirits).
