Well you chose to respect lyric but in spite of the music atmosphere.
According to me, this music could've been edited only with dance scenes and not other thing.

For example, at the beginnig we would've expected scenes with instrument/dance floor/casino/etc..., anything related to dance that would directly represent the whole clip and put us in its mood in the first seconds. But you show us an elevator and it doesn't fit at all for me. Same for other moment in the video (car crash, broken knee,...) where it's about drama happening in life.

In order to illustrate how your video should've looked like according to the music, here is an amv that you should've been inspired of (there are many others I guess of course) : I'M SO CLASSY

Also there is a lack of rythm for me that makes the video difficult to watch until the end unless we just keep focus on the lyric/video association.

Anyway, good luck for the contest, it's only my opinion and other people could like this clip despite its originality (drama/dance).

MesoGear, that could have been a better way to build my edit indeed. I agree with you nevertheless I never got inspired to create a story or concept just around one character when I was listening to this music so here it is ...

Yeah it was hard to keep the atmosphere even in the action phase. Should've picked scenes with more "magic" stuff and less weapons but Soul Eater is really axed on using weapons. Anyway just wanted to say : la pomme. :D

I didn't watch the anime but I almost understood his idea : a kind of demon captured because feared but free by a kind and merciful boy that believe in her and treat her as his equal. Then a relationship begins between them.

I liked your idea and I think it is understandable when watching your video.
It's sad there is frame rate problems with twixtor (if you used it).
