Damn I enjoyed this.
I loved the concept and the storytelling. Explaining such story in an AMV is quite challenging but you've done it well enough.
All the tracking and effects used are imo pretty much flawless, I liked almost all of them. And the overall mood of the amv with the song worked very well. I also think the character you've chosen is great, Takaki has exactly the right feel.
However there are some of the events which you've chosen that I don't think fit well with the "world progression" concept, especially towards the end. For example death of Kobe Bryant or the fires in Australia.
Also the romance felt kinda forced and didn't really help much with the character development, I would have preffered the AMV without it.

Overall great AMV, I really liked it!

Super unique take on the anime with interesting story. I'm not a big fan of text usage for storytelling there.
But I loved the atmosphere!

I wasn't sure how the amv would land but I'm glad the amv has been recieved pretty well so far. Some of the concerns are well justified though.

As for the "vulgarism": The AMV was never meant to be vulgar or extremelly inappropriate. It's weird that you guys feel that way, especially when I compare the content with some other amvs.
If my AMV offended you in some way, I apologize, just be sure to remember that the scenes from the anime are nothing but a parody.
(and yes, they are adults.)

Making Bakemono AMV stand out nowdays is pretty hard, but you did it.
