28 contest participants and 5 members of specially selected jury are eligible for voting in the finals. Voting in second round is obligatory for contestants. If a contestant fails to vote in the category where his/her video is nominated, then the total amount of points that this video gets shall be decreased by a maximum number of points possible for this category. It can affect final rating substantially. You must fill in all slots when filling in the voting form. Voting deadline is June 4th, 15.00 Moscow time (UTC+3)

Hey! This is my new video for Indigo Internal IC that I joined as a guest and got 4th out of 15, thanks for the invitation! Videos had to be raw, so no FX this time except very basic ones.
The music is a bit too catchy and it's the first I heard from the song pack, so you could say I got inspired quickly. It's been a minute since my last solo and especially a dance one like that, it was very enjoyable to go back to this genre, initially I wanted to add a bit more "fun" elements to it but it ended up being mostly "dance".
Balloonra is a spell which completely breaks Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance difficulty.

We begin first round voting of AMVNews: Big Contest 2026. 47 videos took part in the contest. 5 contest videos rated lower than 2.7 points were excluded from voting. All 32 contest participants whose AMVs are eligible for the first round can take part in the voting now, as well as 5 jury members. Voting in first round is totally voluntary.
There are 15 contest nominations to vote in. Some of those include all videos, others include only the videos which match the nomination thematically. Finalists in each nomination will be chosen during first round voting. First round voting ends June 2, 15-00 Moscow time (UTC+3). Link for voting form can be found in "Authorization" block, right upper corner of the webpage. You can fill in the form, add and change anything as much as you want till the end of voting period. Contest participants and co-authors do not see their own videos in the list and can't vote for them.

Even after finishing this video I'm still not sure what to think about it. Am I supposed to happily trip on my neurotransmitters or am I supposed to crash out about being a slave to chemistry? I guess this is what absurdists mean when they talk about struggling to find meaning in a meaningless world, and that the three possible responses are philosophical suicide (embracing dopamine), religion (praying the dopamine away), and rebellion against the absurd (making this insane AMV?).

Author's comment: We all made a video for the contest and got to watch each others videos for the first time on the event stage (besides Nico's video, which I had already seen). I had not joined a local contest in 7 years and hadn't intended on joining this one, but I happened to come across a song that I really liked and figured might be fun to edit and submit to the convention, since everyone else was editing for it too. In the end my ideas for that video were too ambitious for my simple self and I decided to put that aside (perhaps for a future contest) and ended up making this video instead.
It was fun working with a voice-over and classical music whilst trying to mostly not repeat scenes I have previously used.

The convention was a lot of fun, watching different contests, our AMVs, seeing the Flow concert and going off on crazy anime remix songs. I got to be on stage with Nico for winning our respective categories, which was a special moment too.
