This is my entry for a certain contest, and it was a painstaking experience editing all 7 minutes. The hardest bits are probably the basic scene cutting, selection, linking, all to sort out to fit it with the lyrics as a whole. The rest of the organizing and it's effort is self-explanatory. I hope that all of you can enjoy this. Thank you for taking for time to watch it to the end if you do, and it would be appreciated if you passed me opinions on what you think of this AMV. :)

I started this AMV right after i finished Cold And Bloody. Mainly because i thought "why not". The video name is an homage to Phade's Material Girl - a AMV that I love and treasure. Enjoy!

Author's comment: I was interested in Ishida Hiroyasu's works since the day I randomly found Fumiko no Kokuhaku on YouTube, so naturally when I saw the PV for Hinata no Aoshigure back in 2013 I was pretty hyped. But then it was shown in cinemas in Japan and never had any other kind of release. Until yesterday, when it was aired on Fuji TV. I knew about it beforehand so I got a cap set up so I could finally watch it, and it surpassed my expectations. I really loved what I saw, so I knew I wanted to make an AMV to it, and Coldplay's Speed of Sound naturally came to mind as a perfect fit (so perfect I think it might be jarring for some viewers). There's not much else to say, I really enjoyed editing this video, and for once I just made it because I wanted to, not for some contest or whatever.

Retro AMV

This is the full Animix project, a one hour video featuring hundreds of anime and more than 240 songs from the nineties. This AMV is the result of the collaboration of more than 100 AMV creators. The project started in summer 2003, and was completed in april 2004.
