Annual contest of fan-made videos CreaCon 2016 has officially started. Entries accepted from March 15th till April 1st, 2016. Any kind of exclusive fan-made videos can be entered, the ones made of movies, TV series, games, sport shows, as well as self-shot footage and original 3D. The one main restriction concerns anime music videos: those are not accepted because CreaCon was originally created as an alternative to AMV contests. Videos on any subject matter are good for participation. No previous registration required. Today CreaCon is the largest FMV event on Runet, so don't miss it!

Author's comment: Et oui, on n'y croyait plus, mais il est enfin sorti. Donc bref j'avais envie de tenter un amv action parce que j'en ai rarement fait, et donc voilà le résultat. Je suis parti sur du Black Lagoon, puisque c'est un anime avec des scènes classes, des combats classes, et des personnages (féminins Razz) classes. Je m'suis pas trop cassé la tête à chercher une story pour une fois, c'est surtout centré sur la rivalité Revy/Roberta. Et comme d'hab, merci à la STK/aux beta viewers qui se reconnaîtront. Donc bref, j'en dis pas plus ^^:

Поначалу, данная работа расценивалась как своеобразный "творческий перекур", дающий возможность собрать свои мысли и силы для работы над следующим большим и утомительным проектом. Однако совсем недавно меня захлестнула волна жизненных перемен, которые довольно сильно отразились на моем эмоциональном состоянии и привели к тому, что клип этот делался уже под воздействием тяжелых дум и бесчисленных душевных переживаний. В итоге, этот, так называемый "легкий" промежуточный клип высосал из меня не меньше сил и внимания, чем любой другой громоздкий проект. Но несмотря на все трудности, ступоры, торможения, а также егозиное сопротивление материала, я осталась довольна этой работой. Я надеюсь, что и работа осталась довольна мной.

Author's comment: YES!! I DID IT!! HAHAHA! I actually finished it on the 3rd, but I had ideas that I wanted to add to it but then decided not to ;v; I'm sorry! It would've been a music video type thing but I wanted you guys to see most of the motion. And also, the music was laggy on my editing program so I couldn't really... Do anything to a beat while editing and had to rely on the MMD renders where they started and stopped and such.. ANYWAY, YEAH, IT'S DONE WOOT!!

AMVNews.ru announces the annual spring AMV competition - Big Contest 2016. We welcome creators from all over the world to join us with any kind of AMVs. Remember that contest entries should be exclusive, i.e the contest video can't be released online before the premiere at AMVNews. Participants can register via on-line form, registration is opened till the submission deadline for those who have the site account. Videos can be submitted from March 15th till April 15th, 2016.

4 place – 2000 roubles + statuette

This year we have the contest rules translated to several languages. Contest video of AKROSS Con 2015

Author's comment: Beat O’clock is an AMV I made with the intention of expressing my personal interpretation of the song as well as to share with the world what I visualize when I close my eyes. The definition of speed, ideas, rhythm and my own personal thoughts came along the way in the making of the video. While I was progressing, it became a continuous source of inspiration. I also wanted to choose all of these scenes in order for the viewers to freely interpret the video in their own way and not focus on an objective and narrow-minded perspective. The video was made in order for people to immerse themselves, triggering determined feelings, different from each individual. This video is especially dedicated to my friend Nanuk, who has helped me a lot along the way telling me to never give up. He hasn’t made any AMV’s yet, but he has some audiovisual knowledge and a good critical sense, making him the best spectator possible. I also wanted to thank Nostromo for inspiring me on doing what I’ve done. The editing process started not so long ago, but I’ve always had this idea in my head. Beat O’clock is a video for EDM and Anime lovers, but also for those who know how to reach the objective, sometimes hard or sometimes too simple, that is confronting yourself.
