RU: В один судьбоносный день, Кино получает неожиданною посылку, которая навсегда его изменит. Эта рукопись пришла от родственника Гинко Муши, долгое время считавшегося мертвым. Ничто не может быть дальше от истины, ведь эта книга раскрывает, чем Гинко занимался все это время и какие приключения испытал. Она наполнена деталями и иллюстрациями о мире, пробуждает интерес, как и предупреждает о многих опасностях на пути. Теперь, поскольку Гинко становится старее с каждым днем, он отправляет его самую драгоценную вещь Кино: воспоминания о его приключении. Дабы поведать ему о мире за горизонтом и, если возможно, притянуть обоих родственников ближе друг к другу шансом встретиться вновь.

EN: On a fateful day Kino receives an unexpected letter which will forever change who he is. This specific letter comes from a long to be thought deceiced relative, namely his grandfather Ginko Mushi. Nothing seems to be further from the truth, since this book reveals what Ginko has been up to and the adventures he has experienced. It's filled with details and illustrations of the world, it awakens wonder but also informs of the many dangers laying ahead.
Now as Ginko gets older by the day, he send his most precious possession to Kino: the memories of his adventure.
To inform him about the world out there, and if possible pull the two a little closer with the chance of meeting each other once again.
