Basically, we meet young lady Kotomi who falls in love with a cute boy. Everything could be okay and cute if her parents weren't fighting with each other all the time. The violence is all around her, she even got raped. What kind of childhood is that? One day her whole life turns to ashes as her home burnt down. Happily, she was saved by her cute-lover-hero-boy.
Time passes, lovers were away from each other for a while but they met again. All feelings are coming back but... there's another girl on the way to Kotomi's happiness. What could she do to get her dream-boy-who-lives-with-other-girl-and-even-has-a-child back? There are multiple possibilities but Kotomi's childhood wasn't great at all and since the only thing our little butterfly loved was taken away, she gone mad.

Merry Christmas, have a 4 minute long sentimental vid >:)
In all seriousness, I had been dying to make a video with these sources due to their shared Christian overtones and thought Christmas would be the best time to make it. I tried to distill the story down to the trio's journey with the baby with scattered hints of their personal battles and plot points. I did my best to not just summarize the source, but emphasize these attributes and give a general feeling to what the film is about. As such, a large portion of the plot and characterization was skipped over. If you have not seen the film yet, I beg you to do so as there is so much great animation and story that I could not fit into this video.

This AMV is a remake of MapleMAD's 'Happy When' series. This is the first time that I make a cross-over genre, the experience of it was pretty intense since I started this late July, only god knew what had I been through. And I'm glad to say that in this period not only I got help from Maple, but all of my of friends from TOS too, such as 3-chan, Mr.Memory and React木子. Lastly the poster made by Darkcat is totally awesome! Anyways, I thanks everyone for the help.(´；ω；`) Program used：Final Cut Pro X , AE+Twixtor, Photoshop
Lastly, I would like to pay my highest respect to everyone that loved Cross-over.

Комментарий автора: Hello AKROSS! This is Mr.Memory from China. It’s my first time to take part in a video competition and it’s also my first attempt to make a crossover. My love for AMV and MAD first appeared after I saw reAct’s third chapter: A psalm for kings in February 2015. At that time I was in Grade 8 and I started by making 4 or 5 videos only using Vegas. I got to know AMVs better and saw Umika’s videos for the first time in June. They inspired me a lot and the idea of making a crossover arisen in my mind. I wanted to make high quality videos, using more than just simple edits, so I started to learn software like After Effects and Premiere. After I entered Grade 9 in September 2015, I had to prepare for the graduation test of junior school (which we call Zhongkao in China), so I didn’t have time to make videos. Over the year of Grade 9, I created my storyboard, searched for anime and music clips, and watched a lot of tutorials. I also got advice and encouragement from reAct. The last semester of Grade 9 started at this years’ February 16th, the same day as Umika’s funeral. I cried and had a much stronger urge of making the crossover I planned. I got a good score in the graduation test and successfully received the offer of high school in July. Afterwards I went straight to Shenzhen to meet reAct in person. We had a lot of fun and discussed my crossover and AMVs deeply. In August I did more research and found inspiration from Umika’s “Sincerity”, Darkcat’s “Crossing” and Kunqu’s tutorials. By the time high school started in September I had finished all the preparation work and started to make the AMV. “Another” was the first anime I watched, it feels good to look back in time and be myself. In the past few months, a lot of authors and friends helped me and gave me advice during the making of this video, especially reAct. I am very excited to enter this contest as a Chinese and compete against contestants from all over the world. I want to thank everyone who helped me and also to you for taking your time to read this and support my AMV!
