Третий трейлер анимационного сериала RWBY ощутимо отличается от двух первых. Во-первых, теперь это полноценная короткометражка с диалогами, во-вторых, в центре внимания не одна героиня, а два персонажа.

Here's my video. This is it. I planned to make an AMV ages ago, and now I finally did it. (will you look at that!)
I'm sorry, when I began working on it, I had no idea that this series is that overused. I actually didn't know anything about making AMVs. That hopefully changed over the past months, because... well, I made an AMV.
Huge shoutout to Nostromo, whose videos kept me motivated till the end. His "Auriga" stunned me, especially because of his use of Twixtor to increase the framerate. I used it for a lot of GMVs and it seemed only natural for me to use it for this AMV as well. The hardest part of course is that in anime the animation isn't drawn every frame, but mostly every 3rd or 2nd frame, which meant I had to go through everything I recorded and remove every duplicate frame manually through time-remapping. It doesn't surprise me anymore that I didn't see a single editor who's done that before ... Another shoutout, this time to Kraddy, because his Tracks are simply phenomenal to edit to.

This AMV is about the idea of escaping your crappy everyday-life into fictional worlds, an idea I think every Anime-Fan can identify with. The Song, being about how non-sense reality is, brought me to this concept.
First there is Makoto, daydreamer and big scifi-fan. Then there is the mad scientist, who had enought of his job being all about future developments and whishes for a nice, old-fashioned fantasy-world. Haruhi dreams of being a magical girl and Shinji has no luck with woman and sees replacement in 2D-girls.
I hope I succeeded in transfering this concept into the video and you like it. This is also my first try on an AMV and video-editing in general, so please be gentle with me.

Эхххх, ну что ж сказать, вот и мой клип на Iron Chef IX! Сам я очень рад, за три дня, по-моему, совсем уж и неплохая работа, сам клип на конкурсе занял 12-е место среди экшенов, что есть довольно-таки неплохо для меня, ведь я только начинаю свой путь, так сказать!

Namiko (Novice): Это мое первое АМВ, работать над ним было не легко, но интересно. Внося небольшие поправки в ходе работы получилось примерно то, что задумывалось и то, что вы сейчас видите. Пожалуй, терпению Про стоит поставить памятник, большое спасибо Frame'y за всю оказанную помощь. Приятного просмотра.

Frame (Pro): Вот такой у нас получился первый клип. Частенько натыкался в обсуждениях "ЛА" на выражения а ля - "людей без опыта никто не возьмет", и спрашивается почему? Наглядный пример человека, без опыта работы, но с желанием делать, доказала что её стремления, более чем достаточно. И в очередной раз выражу свое скромное субъективное мнение: клип имеет провисания (как и в синхродинамике, так и в топорности некоторых переходов), но он получился достойный, как в рамках ЛА, так и в рамках просто клипа.

Elia (Pro): Тили - тили, трали - вали мы АЕ не изучили, потому что не успели, парам-пам-пам. Это уже не первая (и, надеюсь, не последняя) наша совместная работа. Но самая трудная из-за технических проблем, которые внесли большие коррективы в создание клипа. И мы сделали все от нас зависящее, чтобы завершить его в срок.

Rustem95 (Novice): Всё же я успел доделать этот клип, хотя и потратил огромное количество времени, на совершенно не нужные вещи. Так как я с Элей уже был в паре, то работать было на много проще и веселее. Сделал всё что мог, конечно огромная проблема в технической части ну да ладно. Большое спасибо Эле за помощь и поддержку в создание клипа.

[lokkiclu] (Novice): Hi everyone! This AMV is somewhat based on the music video created for the song I used. My goal was to take the values portrayed in the MV and re-arrange them a bit in order to fit within our community, giving them a little twist of course. I hope you'll be interested to read "between the lines" of the video, but whether you choose to take it seriously or not is completely up to you.

Collaborating with Jazzy, I think, was a beneficial experience for me. Not only was she a great pro but also a great friend and supporter. I overall feel as if I've "leveled up", not only as an editor but also as a person. Mai (Novice): Я наконец решилась делать трейлер. Огромное спасибо своему про за то, что он мне помог реализовать идею и не давал лентяйчать, ибо без пинков я бы вряд ли закончила этот клип в срок. Если я случайно попаду в топ - 5, то приеду и расцелую сенсея!!! В общем, первый раз заливаюсь на ньюс, так что не ругайтесь сильно х) Всем добра.

Frame (Pro): Алина - лентяйка, самая настоящая лентяйка. Но я не могу сказать, что она в этот раз не старалась. Была проделана немалая работа с подбором кадров, а также собирали аудиодорожку своими ручками. На самом деле, я сейчас опять выражу свое скромное субъективное мнение и скажу, что неплохих или хороших (если так проще) трейлеров довольно-таки мало. А у нас вроде как получилось сделать ещё один. Хотя, конечно, опять же - работа имеет косяки, и сам трейлер у нас плавно перетекал в обычный хоррор, но, тем не менее, всем приятного просмотра. И да, господа, ну вы же видели, что выше написано? Yу давайте её в топ-5, а?

So here it is my entry for Level Up 2013. It took a lot of time to make and I know it's not perfect, there are many things I could have fixed but looks like 1 and a half month wasn't enough for me to "complete" the AMV even so I'm still glad with the outcome, it was fun making it and I definitely learned a few new things that will be helpful for the future.

Daramue (novice): Star driver is a show made great not only by the quality of the animation and the action, but by the characters and the drama. By extension, takuto tsunashi, remains one of the most interesting main characters i can remember. Focused heavily is his style, flair, and depth. I hope to have captured some of that emotion and drive present in the series here.

irriadin (pro): I've worked with Daramue before and it's always nice to see him progress as he finishes another video. His goal with this video was to make an intense, over the top and borderline seizure-inducing video, and I think he's succeeded wildly.

xPauChan (Novice): My Pro helped a whole lot and, although I quite a bad novice and wasn't able to work on my AMV as much as I would've liked to, I feel like I learned a lot and I am pretty satisfied with the outcome, considering it is one of my first more 'serious' works. I'm glad I joined Level Up and want to thank Kazu for being such an awesome pro.

DamnKazu (Pro): Well, I personally like how this AMV turned out. I enjoyed working with Pau and helping her out with some stuff since she is improving quite fast and learns some things. Not much to say either, I'm just happy with final outcome :3

MagicalHeatherAMVs (novice): This was the first time that I've ever participated in the Level Up contest scene. I was never really aware of the contest actually, until I started participating in a different one and Irriadin was part of the contest hosting. After seeing all the work I've been doing in that, he suggested that I should participate in this one as one of his novices. So, special thanks to him for getting me involved! :P As for the video, I really enjoyed working on it and believe it's one of my better AMVs and I've learned a lot about editing really quickly and efficiently. Normally I like to take my time on these, but my time schedule wouldn't allow it. I still could use more learning time with effects, but I felt it was best to keep things simple and not too flashy or gaudy with this one. I wanted the video to shine on it's own with it's own emotion to it.

irriadin (pro): When MagicalHeather came to me with this song / anime combination, I knew it would work really well. The two work surprisingly well together... conveying the dark sense of quiet despair surrounding the story of Madoka Magica. This AMV specifically has a very melancholic feeling about it that makes it unique among the other AMVs using this show. MagicalHeather really nailed the atmosphere in Sacrificial Hope, and I was happy to help her.
