I wanted no sense of being jarred out of one anime and into another. Instead I wanted it to feel as though the viewer were flying over a huge anime multiverse, phasing in and out of many realities, dreamlike, without feeling the impact of the change... unless of course the music called for an impact of that kind. Don't go into this EXPECTING to see a ton of digital FX, because if I did my job right, you won't notice them. "

Разрешите представить вам анонс Japan Expo, самого долгожданный конкурс в рамках крупнейшего за пределами Японии аниме-конвента. Как обычно, в ходе самого знакового для французского АМВ-сообщества события у лучших клипмейкеров будет возможность сразиться друг с другом. Вероятно, в этом году конкурс, координаторами которого выступают AMV-France и Japan Expo, в очередной раз побьет рекорд по количеству участников. Так что неважно, насколько ты опытен – не бойся бросить вызов множеству авторов со всего мира и покажи, на что ты способен!

В этом году, как и в прошлом, все работы должны быть эксклюзивными! Теперь публиковать работы до того, как они будут выложены на сайте AMV France, запрещено под угрозой дисквалификации. Участвовать в конкурсе станет проще и привлекательнее, ведь теперь не обязательно добавлять клип на FTP при регистрации. Можно зарегистрироваться прямо сейчас, и залить клип перед самым дедлайном. Кстати говоря, дедлайн продлен до 10 июня 2012 года.

И, наконец, не забывайте, что голосование за приз зрительских симпатий в рамках этого конкурса всегда пользовалось большим успехом, и непременно будет проводиться в этом году. В ходе двухчасовой демонстрации АМВ на большом экране и у новичков, и у давних поклонников АМВ будет возможность ознакомиться с избранными клипами и проголосовать за наиболее понравившиеся.

Author's comment: It was not very successful at the contest and the audience didn't like it very much either (no wonder after seeing 3-4 "cute-girls-dance-and-oh-yeah-K-ON!-is-in-it" - AMVs out of 13 AMVs). But I do still like it. And I think I should get the "shortest-video-that-ever-participated"-award :D
