This AMV should not exist. The fact that it does is by pure chance and maybe the constellation of the stars. I found this song when i was searching for another. I started this AMV right after i finished Cold And Bloody. Mainly because i thought "why not". The video name is an homage to Phade's Material Girl - a AMV that I love and treasure. Enjoy!

Author's comment: I was interested in Ishida Hiroyasu's works since the day I randomly found Fumiko no Kokuhaku on YouTube, so naturally when I saw the PV for Hinata no Aoshigure back in 2013 I was pretty hyped. But then it was shown in cinemas in Japan and never had any other kind of release. Until yesterday, when it was aired on Fuji TV. I knew about it beforehand so I got a cap set up so I could finally watch it, and it surpassed my expectations. I really loved what I saw, so I knew I wanted to make an AMV to it, and Coldplay's Speed of Sound naturally came to mind as a perfect fit (so perfect I think it might be jarring for some viewers). There's not much else to say, I really enjoyed editing this video, and for once I just made it because I wanted to, not for some contest or whatever.

This is the full Animix project, a one hour video featuring hundreds of anime and more than 240 songs from the nineties. This AMV is the result of the collaboration of more than 100 AMV creators. The project started in summer 2003, and was completed in april 2004.

Author's comment: So after releasing last year's YTMND AMV: Fad Entertainment System, I felt like there was more that could be done with Rainbow Stalin and that the concept really deserved its own video. Voting in first round is totally voluntary.
There are 16 contest nominations to vote in. Some of those include all videos, others include only the videos which match the nomination thematically. Finalists in each nomination will be chosen during first round voting.
First round voting ends June 16th, 20-00 Moscow time (UTC+4).
