Second tour of voting has been ended. From this moment and on, there will not be any limits for discussion of the identity of authors. Results will be published at 27 January, 18:00 Moscow Time (UTC+3).

You can indicate in the comments section which clip belongs to which author. For each correct guess, the user is awarded a point and the one who correctly guessed the most will receive an achievement in the profile. On the contrary, for the correct guessing of your clip, a point will be deducted.

Сontest participants and members of specially selected jury are eligible for voting in the finals. Voting in second round is obligatory for contestants. If a contestant fails to vote in the category where his/her video is nominated, then the total amount of points that this video gets shall be decreased by a maximum number of points possible for this category. It can affect final rating substantially. You must fill in all slots when filling in the voting form. Voting deadline is January 26, 18.00 Moscow time (UTC+3)

Anon Con 2022 first round voting is over. 17 persons took part in the voting, 10 videos passed to the second round in main nomination. To pass to the finals a video should have gathered no less than 4 votes. Details about second tour voting will be available soon. We begin first round voting of AMVNews: Anon Con 2022. 30 videos took part in the contest. All contest participants whose AMVs are eligible for the first round can take part in the voting now, as well as 5 jury members. Voting in first round is totally voluntary.
There are 6 contest nominations to vote in. Some of those include all videos, others include only the videos which match the nomination thematically. Finalists in each nomination will be chosen during first round voting. First round voting ends January 24th, 12-00 Moscow time (UTC+3). Link for voting form can be found in "Authorization" block, right upper corner of the webpage. You can fill in the form, add and change anything as much as you want till the end of voting period. Contest participants do not see their own videos in the list and can't vote for them.

Если бы я мог описать, в чем заключалась идея, я бы изменил предложение:
"Получил мир на видео"
Пер:
"Получил мир аниме на AMV"

Тогда посмотрите видео и, если оно вам понравится : "Сыграй еще раз"

If I can describe how the idea was, it would be to change the sentence:

«Просыпайся, самурай. Пора зажечь этот танцпол»

Давно хотела сделать римейк этой работы и изначально планировала закончить и опубликовать новую версию где-то в сентябре 2022-го, когда, собственно, и отмечался 10-й юбилей клипа, но из-за дел и всякой всячины в жизни руки дошли только сейчас. Ну, лучше чуток поздно, чем никогда. Буду считать это своим официальным открытием нового года и мотивацией закончить новый клип, который и так уже почти готов :D

Я не хотела вносить никаких кардинальных и концептуальных изменений в клип, т.к. он мне всегда нравился таким, какой он есть, так что в основном я выправила синхру и общее качество видео, плюс сделала пару других легких правок. Возраст исходника уже, конечно, бросается в глаза, но по сравнению с первой версией клипа, на эту плотность пикселей хоть не так больно смотреть. В итоге получилось нечто среднее между полным римейком и покадровым ремастером. Думаю, сейчас клип выглядит так, как я его и задумывала десять лет назад.

The idea of remaking this old video of mine had been bugging me for quite a long time. Initially, I was planning to finish and release this in September 2022, the actual 10-year anniversary of the video, but with everything going on, I managed to do that only now. But better late than never, I guess. I'll take this as an official kick-off of my new editing year and a motivation to finish my new video which is almost done at this point.

I did not want to make any radical or conceptual changes to the original, so I kept it as faithful to it as I could, eliminating mainly sync and weird video issues, using a better quality source (the age of Champloo definitely shows, though), and making just a couple of tiny changes here and there. Now it looks the way I most probably intended it to look in 2012, and I guess falls somewhere in-between a 1:1 remaster and a total remake.
