Клип начал потихоньку пилить еще в мае 2021 года под впечатлением от мувиков. Летом никуда его я пристроить не смог и решил отправить на TOS 2021. По итогу конкурс нехило так перенесли, из-за чего в интернетах AMV появилось только сейчас.
Приятно просмотра.

2017, I thought of a joke. So much did I think of this joke and laugh at it, that I saw it and heard it. I expected, in my innocent days, that this would be a little project of mine, prompted by laughter and fellowship among my friends. The proof of my misunderstanding is here today. For the more I insisted on this interesting "joke", the more I saw how much it was possible to invest myself and how much this joke allowed me to be, artistically. My ideas in symbiosis with opportunity and situation — it was taking on a course and a life of its own. After a while, this dear Corgi, who stars in this dear video, became a friend who helped me through almost 5 whole years. Hundreds of hours of editing, drawing and animating, hundreds of hours just waiting for things to open or render. Countless notes, calculations and tests. Many periods of my life; endings and beginnings; dislikes and passions. I never, however, put this project aside. It took a whole hard drive to have it with me all this time. And now it is time to let it go. I present to you my best friend of these last years; my "exquisite corpse" of a single author.

General belief would have you rest assured that angels and demons are but legendary entities that populate realms way beyond your reach.
The project you will see here, however, is bound to prove that forces of unbelievable intensity and control are always at work to put ordinary humans through the most dire of challenges, only to push them towards unlocking their hidden potential, all while at the risk of losing themselves amidst it all.
And so, the immense weight of disaster and tragedy looms over their entire fragile existence, as every character in this project delves into their own inner darkness in an attempt to find and pull themselves back into the light once again, at whatever cost... just to feel something.

Комментарий автора: 15 лет прошло с моего последнего участия в конкурсе. Не раз я планировал вернуться и создавал проекты, которым не суждено было родиться. Менялись идеи, футажи мигрировали из одного проекта в другой, а исходники безвозвратно терялись. В поисках вдохновения, я решил загрузить один из старых файлов. Его удручающий внешний вид из-за отсутствия использованных в нем материалов и натолкнул меня на идею для работы этого года.

Комментарий автора: Man this movie meant so much to me I had to come out of my hiatus to try and give it some justice ;-; I also wanted to make something really quick for NDK as their contest is going this year and that contest/con holds a ton of important memories for me. While not perfect, I really tried to use the limited amount of footage the best I could and tell a cute little story about love and acceptance. I hope the message got through! ALSO PLEASE WATCH THE MOVIE THANKS!

Edit: We won!! We won!! We won at NDK!! I am going to go weep for at least 4 months now! Thank you so much to anyone who watched/voted for my video ;-; I hope even more people watch this movie now and give it the love and attention it deserves!
