HELLO THERE, this is an AMV for all you sport anime lovers out there! WATCH IN HD PLEASE. 
Onto the video... wow, so i wanted to edit to this audio track for ages now, and after over 4 months of watching sports anime, planning and editing, i have finally finished the biggest project ive ever done. I put so much time into this, a lot more than any other video ive ever made. I wanted to spend even more time on it, but sadly exam season is very quickly approaching so i thought id better rush and finish it before that happened.
The music could be a real annoyance to edit to sometimes, but all in all it was very fun, and i hope this video encourages you all to watch more sport anime :D I tried to include a wide variety of sports animes, but a good majority of the most famous sports animes are quite old and cannot be found in HD, so the sports animes found in this video are mostly the newer ones :)
This video is the first video i have made which has more than 1 anime in :P It is also going to be the first video ive ever sent off to cons. Excitin stuff.

Комментарий автора: Трейлер на Tokyo ESP. Делался в основном для феста Animation Zone 6 в попыхах успеть до 1 мая. Звуковую дорожку взял из "Мстителей: Эра Альтрона", тут она идеально подошла для Токийских эсперов. В принципе, больше сказать нечего, хотя нет, есть что, но мне лень печатать.

Выдержка из комментария автора: After watching the first episode of Mekakucity Actors, I wanted to make AMV that likened Ene to either some form of virus. After watching the rest of the series, it seemed to be a better fit to compare her to Apple's Siri program. For those who don't know, Siri is the "intelligent personal assistant" built into to iPhone models 4S and later - It is voice activated and responds to commands and queries. Had trouble finding a decent song to use for this concept as there were fewer Siri parody songs than I thought I'd have to choose from. It's mean to say I settled on this song, but I really was hoping for more Siri quotes to lip sync to. Otherwise it works really well.

Комментарий автора: Many months ago, around the time of Fruitless Loop I promised someone I would make a personal, dedicated AMV to her. I have no right to re-imagine other people's feelings but I wanted to make a Grisaia reaction video, so most of the effort went into altering the gloomy source material to create something a bit more cheerful or at least hopeful. The original concept was to have all the other girls censored out but it didn't look so nice in the end. The message remains.

Комментарий автора: So hey, remember how I used to edit AMVs once upon a time? Well, I've worked out my technical issues and now I finally can again. Hurray. However, this also means it's been 2 years since I last edited an AMV. So I'm a little rusty. Maybe more than a little.

In all seriousness, yes, it's been a long time since I edited an AMV and I don't really know what makes a good or bad AMV, and I'd really appreciate any feedback you guys can give to help me improve. I learned a lot of technical stuff editing this video (and still have a lot more to learn, RIP me) but I don't know how to help myself improve on the actual editing.

As for the video itself, because it was my first AMV in so long I wanted to edit with something I would really enjoying working with. Mushishi is my favourite anime, and has been for years, and I was super excited to finally get to edit with it. That, and 2014 was a beautiful year that gave us 2 new seasons of Mushishi AND 2 specials. And there's still one more coming out this year. Hallelujah. I really liked working with this song because it's very soothing but something about it really unsettles me as well, which made it very fun to match it up with some of the stranger and darker scenes of Mushishi. There isn't much to it, but I hope you enjoy!

Комментарий автора: My video that I made for AWA Pro 2013 (yes, almost a year ago). As many people know, I am notoriously slow at releasing videos. >> After AWA, I totally slacked off and didn't work on this for months, and it really did take me this long to pick it back up and finish it. There's still a few things that bother me and I'd like to fix, but frankly, I just need to get this off of my computer. Anyway, this idea had been in the back of my mind for awhile, but I hadn't had the chance to create it due to being busy with contests and such. Ever since I saw Paper Route live like a year and a half ago, I had wanted to showcase their music (seriously, go check them out, they are amazing), and after watching Toradora! the idea for this video came together really easily. My main goal was to make something that had a good mix of the goofy, as well as emotional/dramatic aspects of Ryuuji and Taiga's relationship. I adore these two characters, and this show, and I hope I did them/it justice. Enjoy!

I wanted this video to somehow portray the importance of childhood heroes. Oddly enough, Usagi was never a childhood hero of mine – but she became one to me during adulthood. The whole “power of love” thing is cliche and overdone, but I think people brush off how powerful those messages are just because you see it a lot. Sailor Moon wouldn’t be sailor moon if it wasn’t for those cheesy messages about how true love overcomes all, but even as someone who is almost 24 I still think those messages are pretty damn important.
