The two characters portrayed in my video begin their journeys on different paths, but somehow find themselves meeting in the middle as they realize: life can be more than meets the eye.

Broken Hearted

Hello! This is my first entry in a competition. I hope you will like it.

- just to clarify, the guy who is abusing her is not the same guy during the story. -

Storyline: The video begins with the actual present, when we see the protagonist in a ghost form, staring at her own grave, crying. There is a frame where we see how she died, suiciding during the passage of a train. We are redirected a week ago when she was sad, hopeless and she remembers her past when she was younger, abused, derided by people and decides to cut her hair (which has a meaning in the japanese culture, this is signals some kind of dramatic, life-altering change ). She no longer can find happiness untill she meets the guy who will change her world completely, she is happy now. During his piano performance there is a terrorist attack in that place. The piano and the sakura tree symbolize heaven. Sadness comes to her once again after losing her most important person, she runs and we see how she dies (as the beginning).

“Love is a lonely thing.”

I think this is one of the hardest editing work that I ever made. Part of it is because I try and divide the story into different parts plus the all the flashbacks scenes and try to in-cooperating in real life scene, which I don't really know if that's a good fit for animation work or not. The other part is due to the intriguing way of storytelling on the anime side, I think they tried to tell a story of love and war through the eyes of an immortal species of human, but the main focus is kind of blurry drifting from the growth of protagonist to a more serious subject of conflict of nation and forced marriage of the kingdom that wants to harness the immortal power.
Anyways, I hope you guys can enjoy this and 'Sayonara no Asa ni Yakusoku no Hana wo Kazarou', as always feel free to leave your comments or any advice below. Thanks for watching.

Всем привет, кто меня еще помнит. Очень долго решался сделать большую работу, постоянно не хватало времени и сил но одним вечером зашел на amvnews и увидел что начался MixCon, меня заинтересовали сами правила конкурса и я решил почему бы нет, идея пришли мгновенно в голову оставалось её только реализовать. На самом деле, в работе над этим амв я понял, что у меня есть очень хорошие друзья, без которых я сам лично, скорее всего, все опять бы закинул. Про клип, если честно, мало чего хочется говорить, дам людям пищу для размышления.

Отдельное спасибо:
Neon, благодарю за огромную помощь с клипом и поддержку в любую минуту. Любые мои идеи всегда встречались с словами "давай попробуем", и в итоге это оказалось очень важным, с его помощью я узнал очень много всего нового и надеюсь, что в будущем я точно также смогу ему помочь, как и он помог мне.
Sunlight, спасибо за нереальную поддержку, когда я был в тупике мне было достаточно всего лишь написать тебе и ты сразу же без каких либо вопросов помогал мне не смотря на количество собственной работы, я это очень ценю

Комментарий автора: Hello! I felt like editing a cute song during my short break. I couldn't decide on a series and ended up using what I had on my computer. Its been a long time since I've edited anime so I've forgotten a lot of things (1:06 is me at my colour grading). I had trouble with a lot of parts but I was like, if I finish I can use my fav girl as the thumbnail (motivation right there). I'm quite excited for October since there are so many good shows coming out.
