Ape Out Bebop

Hello, Name's Ken Stacks and this is my first ever video uploaded on amvnews.ru.

So I was playing Ape Out the other day and felt this game felt "bebop-y". It took me some time to figure out what I wanted to do with the. So I got inspired by the intro of Cowboy Bebop and tried to recreate the intro but with the game. Took me 1 week (and a half?) to finish this edit. It was quite a learning experience really. I hope you enjoy it.

Решил сделать AMV, не уходя от своей излюбленной темы романтики. Выбор источника был не затруднительный. Под "лезвие" попало недавно просмотренное аниме "Domekano", которое зацепило своим взрослым и серьезным сюжетом.
Эту взрослость и серьезность я решил передать и в AMV.

A Breath of Free!

A video about swimming (or any sport) maybe has an extra meaning in these times.
My main idea was to show few of my defining feelings which came when I watched this series.
In Hungary we have really good swimmers. I also got inspiration from them.

This project of mine at the same time comes with the following:

Color granding (First time when I doing it in this dept.)
I've built a custom look node tree from scratch with using like 12-14 nodes average.
DaVinci Resolve 16 (which I using for every editing steps) is a game changer for me, so I wanted to take advantage of it's main power.

Well... You need to know the source anime if you want to recognize most of my look's DNA.
I'ts mostly about /numerous/ small details, except: I pulled out lot of green tones from the water and I pushed various parts of the color palette to the direction of blue, with some magenta.

Secondly I tried out some new aspects in cutting, pacing, flow, syncing, effecting and more.

The third thing is...
I spent most of the time with colors, which is became to my favorite part of the process.
During make this project I had a challenging three months with lot of fun. - For example: many-many visual defects (these can be really entertaining sometimes) and dead ends when I built up the main look.

Least but not last: I needed some genre/vibe change after a year and half.

Ps.:
I never wanted to over edit this video.
For me, it's mostly about practice color grades, scene selection and cutting - on the technical side.
(And also getting the cleanest visuals with using the proper color and effect settings.)

A little something I made a while back when I was an intermediate rookie. When I first heard this song, Avatar was literally the first thing that popped into mind, so I made a video that basically profiles Aang in a nutshell. Pretty good fit, I'd have to say.

Моя первая попытка кроссовера с легким оттенком хоррора. Идея пришла после Castlevania + моя любимая Persona. А так же помог текст трека. Сюжет старалась сделать замкнутым (конец с началом), надеюсь получилось. Приятного просмотра.

Hey Yo!
Tht's my entry for Big Contest 2020. I had this idea in my mind for more than 1 year, when I first put together those 3 songs adding voices and sound effects but I only started when a friend of mine told me there was a newer series about ghost in the shell (yeah I don't watch several animes). I always loved the sound editing and creating a sort of my own song putting together those 3 allowed me to create the atmosphere I was looking for this story. As usual I spent a lot of time on this and I hope it worth it. Talking about the vid there is not much I would like to say since I honestly prefer you guys make your own idea on it, I tried to create a Sci-Fi Thriller mixing up several sources to create an "original" story, I know it's kinda long, but for those who know me, I guess you're used to it ^^.

What up? This is my first ever entry for Big Contest!

I love Eureka Seven, especially Renton, so I wanted to make an AMV that basically profiles him and the brutal hardships he faces as an adolescent teen; it also focuses on his and Eureka's relationship, and how much they love each other (I'm kind of sucker when it comes to romance). A whole list of songs went through my head before finally deciding on this one.
