Everything Falls

Xheissy (Novice): This video is my first full AMV and it was created especially for Level Up 2013. I wanted to make a typical drama and sentimental video. In the anime *SPOILER* both Nagisa and Ushio die in the end *SPOILER * leaving Tomoya alone, so I decided to make a combined version of them but with a happy ending in which all the characters stay alive. I tried to show as much as possible their struggle with life and all bad things that happened to them and the way they stayed together to overcome it. My main idea was to follow the lyrics of the song in order to get to this “happy ending”. Let’s say I am still at the beginner’s stage ... getting in the world of editing and I am really grateful that I got the chance to learn from AimoAio and work with her.

AimoAio (Pro): xheissy is a very enthusiastic learner, always willing to try her best and listen to feedback. It was a difficult time because both of us were really busy and rarely had the chance to talk to each other but I’m happy she managed to persevere until the end, well done! The video’s idea is relatively simple but takes a different approach to the original anime’s story, although how it is interpreted is entirely up to the viewer. The video is strongly focused on the mood and atmosphere, so I hope the viewer is able to take this into account and imagine/visualize the emotions brought forth not only by the song but by the scenes that convey such emotion too.
