First time editing with this anime for me was quite enjoyable actually. Story revolves around the messages Taki and Mitsuha left for eachother, which are technically time travelling sooo.. they're texting through time, right? Sounds like something I'd wanna try. The neon world is basically the "connection" their messages use to be sent. And I also discovered a new effect I like. My favourite thing about this AMV is how they are convincing themselves that they aren't crazy, and even when things get sad and they are separated they still keep going "cause there's never a perfect day". Determination is everything!
Special thanks to:
- burning light transition 1-9
- My ENP for being supportive of me editing this instead of the ENP MEP part
- Kyou for inspiring me to edit with Kimi no Na wa with his Meant For Something Better AMV: https://youtu.be/gcqcdB54Fz4
- BxP for inspiring me with her Afterlight AMV: https://youtu.be/FLga2F5slYQ
- Korean drama "crash landing on you" for the title idea. Did you guys know you can schedule text msgs 1 year ahead?!
- My brother's art teacher, cause I came up with this neon effect while doing his homework

And for some reason, your main character gets to the place twice (01:31, 01:50) - should it be so?
Overall, not bad.
This video has also emotions, but there are some things I disliked:
1) Unnecessary neon edge-detect effect. There was no purpose of this effect and it did not add neither atmospheric nor esthetic touch in this AMV. It is just an effect that exists.
2) Ending is abrupt.
3) Transition in 2:10 is not ok. Camera movement in this moment is... spiky.
4) A lot of unneeded scenes. However, I understand that it is very hard to make better scene selection in this short amount of time in IC.
Wish you good luck.
