Whitewoods' Beach Walk is a song that always inspires this retro feeling within me whenever I hear it. After listening to it multiple times, I decided editing an AMV to the song would be quite fun. I eventually settled on using Bakemonogatari since not only is it a great source to work with, but also because I felt I could display the relationship between the two main leads in a way that reflected the feel of the song.
It ended up being quite different to how I usually go about editing a video, but it ultimately came together as well as I had hoped it would when I first began work; something that reflects the retro feel of the song. I'm happy with the finished version and am excited to once again take part in Big Contest.
