An Evangelion and Pacific Rim mashup is something I've wanted to do for a while but just didn't quite know how. After the newest trailer for Pacific Rim: Uprising dropped, I knew I could finally do something with the idea. I wanted the clips from Eva to match the sounds and feel of the trailer, and I think I was able to pull it off even better than I had originally envisioned. This was my first time really editing to a trailer, and even though it had it's own unique set of obstacles, it was quite a bit of fun to do.
