I guess you have a point there...but then again, when putting 'Spoil' as reference to this....it's quite silly don't you think? Clearly 'Spoil' was edited in a fashion where 2 or more editors had a fixed theme and they were clearly editing the same anime. I'm not saying that it will always work out but it sure has it's special characteristics and looking at the theme of this MEP it somewhat does look quite consistent to me....especially because the parts were following the them of the song and all the parts were edited in RAW fashion.

I'm not really into these kind of MEPs (AM MEP) but the various editing styles in this MEP did keep me surprised and I enjoyed it until the last part. I guess it all depends really.....I can't talk for everybody.

huh? I always thought that to be a quite weak point about MEPs really. I believe that a great MEP consists of different editing styles... that's what makes it essentially unique...but I suppose others look at it differently.

I don't want to start an argument or anything but I've read some comments below and I can't believe that some of you guys think that this AMV is prolonged. In what particular way is this AMV prolonged????? The ending with Gurenn Lagann in my point of view was the perfect finale for this AMV. Also giving a more detailed comment rather than just saying "Boring" or rating "1/2/3/4/5" (which btw you can save yourself time by using the rating system) would be a bit more polite. I guess there is always something to tease about.

I appreciate all the comments guys! Personally, if I watched this video made by someone else I would rate it a 3. I'm quite surprised some of you gave it a 4. As I mentioned in the description above..there is no real story in this AMV...the story I mentioned above is a theory of what could be a good story by the looks of how this was edited..so don't misunderstand me...I was just going for the right mood and pacing the video to the speed of the song. I'm pleased to be able to participate in this contest. I'll try harder next time

Looks decent. Bombarded with overlays and the synchronization did not do it for me..most of the time :(. You did a great job on the lip sync though. I could give you a 4 on this but since synchronization is important to me so I'm going to give you 3. Good work nevertheless. Good luck

oh and regarding the pace of the video... because some of you think it's too fast. I wasn't even syncing all the beats (that's literally impossible since the song goes at 170 beats per minute) in fact I was internal syncing most of the actions scenes..but I suppose you have to watch it more than twice to notice what I really did. I believe the song fits very well with the footage.

I believe there is no other way to execute this song correctly without a bit of action in it. Personally I think it would look bland without the actions scenes.

Why do you Think That (the?) random can make video more enjoyable to watch? I do not Think so, becouse I need Relationship Between the Parts of AMV. I am sure that have you more time, would be obtained nice work.

thanks for the comment. I do believe the video could have been better if I showed a stronger vision to the story which I stated up in the description but as I already said...I wasn't working on this for very long and time was limited for me..so I had to go with something fast and something that catches the mood correctly...regardless of story.

Also a side note regarding the song: The song isn't really meant to be edited at all imo. It's a song that goes for almost 6 minutes long and I'm 100% sure it's meant to be mixed in with another song a.k.a a song you use to DJ. Just saying that because it seems repetitive to most of the viewers.

Very impressive work. I liked this a lot. Good job.
Though I think you could have slowed it down a bit. ;p
