Some walking scenes do suffer in quality of the motion interpolation. Those would've been my choice to be cut out for a shorter and more powerful video.

I wouldn't say it was rebellious, since an amv means "anime music video" I think he had to think of the fact that there are different types of music videos in the world and took something that can be called different in an amv, but not different as of a regular music video.
