"14 year old schoolgirls with too much free time" - The Movie

This is basically everything I hate about AMVs.

The song is cringe-worthy.
The editing looks like it took quite some time, but it doesn't deliver any feeling.
The lyrics are plastered all over the video, like it's meant to be watched by deaf people.

What bothers me most is that you guys basically edited yet another pointless "Youtube video" that is only targeting to get more subscribers and views from a brain-dead audience. This might work in some places but don't expect to get any good ratings from people who like to think.

And yes, I do know that I sound like a grandpa yelling at the kids playing in the garden.

I think the main reason why you get rather poor ratings for this technically very well done AMV (except for the Twixtor parts), is that the song and anime don't match at all.

You took an extremely dramatic and sad anime and also chose scenes that suggest this, but the song doesn't deliver any of it.

I know it's very poor taste to recommend another AMV in the comments, but you might want to check out Ookami's "Echo of Life". That AMV is not as pretty as yours, but a lot more beautiful.

First time I'm actually seeing a video of Aku no Hana. I only heard about it and saw some images but I never knew that it looks so different in motion. Instantly makes me want to watch it, which doesn't happen very often anymore to me after watching an AMV.

Also very good editing and story telling. You've done a great job with this video.

Wonderful jokes, had a good laugh with this one.
Some scenes could've used some panning/zooming, but I tend to forget that most of the time as well, so I don't mind.

You did a solid and continuous job at cutting and scene selection. You're doing a much better job at the basics than most editors.

A video without effects is worth much more than a video with bad effects. Which makes your video something special after all.
