I think the single MEP parts worked together quite well. It's a pleasing action vid.

I think, if you pick up such a song you need to go in there with full force, speeds & drugs and be totally unpredictable.

This is just not enough energy level for this song in my opingion. Sorry.

I think when the music sets in at ~0:55 some more sound effects are missed to make some more impact with the song. It just feels like something is just missing at those parts.

There are amazing ideas, like how the editor plays with motion and conitinuity with the cigarette. He has great feeling on how to give the scenes an original colour touch that matches the source.

The nature scenes are a bit of a break. I'm not sure about it to be honest. What does it bring to the table? It has a very "sharp" high contrast look to the rest.

Well and after that the edit IS great and good, but what started out to be original goes back to a usual opening+ending edit. I miss the explict creativity of the first third of the video.

In some parts the camera motion is a bit too much.

I like what you did there. I started to see fragments of faces, eyes and hair in this after some time. Personally I would not want to watch this again. Although Merzbow is Merzbow and will always be Merzbow. You probably made some fans of the music really happy with it.

This is a nice glitch effect, that needs a purpose. Maybe it's a great texture, displacement map or texture. I wished you would mix it with some clean footage.

Thank you. I liked the project, because it went down to the very basics of editing. It was interessting to notice, what the original anime does to convey it's story and how it unfolds on multiple layers.

I really like the beginning and how you mixed different anime together. Especially the "standing time" scenes, since I know many of them and just love how they are edited together seemlessly.

This is the first time you break concept. You give me as a viewer a different approach to things. It's one of those cases where technology makes the scenes feel old already. Sadly: AnimateDiff came out a few weeks ago and make these scenes look outdated. Again I get that certain feeling with AI: Whatever you do. The artstyle doesn't integrate too well, with the rest of the video. I honestly would fail at that point as well. No idea on how to fix it. Maybe trying a different Lora?

With the integration of live action you break a concept, that you established for me as the viewer again. This is disoriantating for me. The video also starts to become weaker in how the scenes work together. Personally the song felt too long for me. Was there a way to maybe cut this down and focus on highlight scenes? Though the idea of how to mix Live Action and anime is not bad.

This does not look like a POV. Especially the zoom out at the beginning gives me a false impression. I thought at first that a camera falls down. Which felt weird. I blame the motion.


Personally I think the concept is not focused. The editing gets weaker and that this could have been something truely great. I really like the beginning scenes though. That was truely great!

The song might not be my taste and I think it demands for some crazier effects than internal snyc. Regardless this works out really good. Well done.
