The Song fits the anime quite well and I liked your sync and some transition were nice. Didn't really like the swipe transitions though, cause you used them kinda randomly. In my opinion those kind of transitions, where nothing from the first clip is really leading to the next clip except for that forced movement, work best when you want to introduce a new thought or chapter in your video. It kinda breaks the connection between clips in terms of content imo. Also the more unique transitions you made are also way more interesting to watch in general c: GL!

I was just complaining about most action amvs to this anime on mycathatesyous video, but you managed to make a banger action video, while doing the anime justice and focusing on the funny parts in it. GL! c:

Cool Combo! At first I thought the Japanese lyrics wouldn't fit cause the English parts didn't really but after looking up the translation the Japanese parts actually work better lol. All in all great sync and scene selection. It could have been a little more dynamic sometimes though. GL c:

not bad, liked the vibe but I didn't really think the idol scenes fit that well with the song. More normal dance stuff might have worked better.

I was skeptical about the combo at first but the song really helped sell the impact of the hits and also pretty nice how that one clap kinda sounds like them hitting the ball. Really enjoyed watching it. Could have been a little longer for sure though. GL!

Some of the panels definetly have a more prominent atmosphere when watched alone. The Gallery style was the best solution i could come up with to make them work together without loosing too much atmosphere of the single panels. I tried to make the 3D stuff as little distracting, always focusing on the panels as these are the most important aspect of the video imo

Really unique amv c: I especially like the way it brings to life a specific kind of boredom without being boring and still conveys that feeling really well. Also nice scene selection overall!

Definetly nothing special. We just played around with combining two different anime in each part and had fun with the song.
I still enjoy watching it although the sync definetly could be more interesting at times.

regarding this comment section: I think it's really important to be honest with your opinion. It's something i really like about this community. I don't really get why people have to be rude though.
For example Leberate: I can understand that you might have synced this really differently and thats good to know as i really enjoy most of your works. But i wouldn't go to your last video that i didn't enjoy and tell you that you are braindead because the anime song combo is garbage. I would simply say that i didn't really get the anime song combo and the video didn't work for me because of that reason. (just an example i'm really looking forward to your upcoming videos c:)

nice sync and atmosphere c: Don't think the last sentence in your description was necessary. It's better to let the viewer experience the video their own way, cause I was focused on that aspect a little too much while watching the first time. Art is always also a result of the perception of the viewer and if you give away too much information beforehand it kinda ruins that personal interpretation. Nice video though! Good Luck!

bullshit, if you use presents then dont be afraid to say about this on description then, why its should be fair when we talk about competition? Why guys who making everything by themself should be judged in the same way as the another guy who using presents and templates? u guys so funny :D

This comes all down on how you judge amvs. Your argument makes sense if we were to judge effort as being the only criteria. Effort is one of the less important criteria in my opinion, but i can understand why people wanna acknowlegde when someone puts in much time. But for example if i were to redraw every frame of the anime (i really can't draw for shit) the video would be terrible but still, i put in much effort. The most important aspect of amvs is the combination of song and anime in my opinion and you have many ways to make such a connection really work. Some concepts need more effort and transformative effects and compositions, others don't. In the end the concept and how it's fleshed out is whats to be judged. In case of presets, you have the advantage of putting in less time, are using pretty overused styles and graphics though, so you need to use them in an interesting way. Like padre did by placing them into the anime in a fitting way. Also in this case the effects are a nice addition, but the internal sync and scene selection make it a good video, but let's ignore that for now. If you make everything yourself you have it way easier making something that fits your video and looks unique = judges will acknowledge that. Still if your effects don't match your song and anime and feel handfisted or like a brag and don't really add to the video, thats even worse than using some presets that support your original concept. Just wiriting this because i think the main problem is just different focus in different communities. Not saying anyone is right or wrong for having different thoughts on what matters when making amvs. Ofcourse you can always write your opinion and it might help people to think outside their own bubble. Thats why i'm writing this. Cheers

P.S.: I agree with you on the poster. It's kinda broing and has no visual tension. Also telling people you used presets might be a nice move indeed, but most judges should be able to tell anyways
