It's just that Sin City being one of the top 5 of Level Up 09, watching a vid from this contest with the same song seems strange like "why the fuck did they choose this song?"
And because of that, I can't judge properly the vid which doesn't mean it's good or bad, just that I can't help this thought about Sin City...

As I already said, I was away. And in any case, people have their lives (though it seems you don't...) and just post something when they can. Also, it's not Angelface herself who posts this vid here which means that at least one Russian loves her vid. It even looked like it was the case for several people. So, hey, what's up? Should I come saying "Angy, you don't deserve as many good comments, remember you were in 2nd category in the contest"? I don't think so, she's still in French community (even though she's Algerian, in case you forgot about it), I just can be happy for her to see that people like her work not considering her ranking.

Add to this that I'm wondering if you even know how work JE system for selections. Don't forget that AMV-France is an association and that, as all associations, it tries to make participate its members as much as possible. Think about it. Anyway, as I already said over and over and over again, you, Russians, have your view about amv, we, French, have our view, is that so difficult to understand?
When Big Contest results were given, I remember that many French didn't understand them but we didn't make any drama about it. Okay, I recognize that we think that some of you act friendly during the votes but hey, we dont' care, it's just about AMVs, there are more important things, so why so serious?

If you want to know, myself, who took part in the selections, I don't agree with some choices but this is a team work with its logical, and as a team work with its logical, the ranking of editors is at 95% understandable.
We can't do perfect things but we try to make them as good as possible.
If you want something else to know, I think that with another logical, Angelface could have entered the finals. But JE has had its identity for years now and if you look at results since at least 4 years, there's nothing so surprising...

Plus, and that is the last thing I'll say:
Ranking doesn't mean anything about the quality of a vid, it's just mean that you respond to some criteria.
In Angelface's case, her vid is easily in my top 15 favourite vids of the contest.

You should do more Psychedelic vids dude.
