"I want to be Nostromo."

I really enjoy Shinzo's editing the most out of all the "random trance + pretty anime" editors but I just wan't feeling this one. Shinzo, in my opinion, has a great eye for stylizing his videos but I feel this was really lacking.

When the video first started I was excited to see what he'd do with this time theme but it seemed to quickly disappear and just go to beautiful scenes from anime. He still managed to vaguely capture the general emotion and tone of the song, but it was never very solid.

When the second half of the video he finally kicked in with some of that sexy style of his it overall still felt lackluster. It's frustrating when you see an editor that you know is capable of amazing and beautiful things edit something that appears below him.

Overall, I still love Shinzo's videos and I hope that he doesn't start to rely too much on 60fps and pretty footage. Those are great and all but I'd be really sad to see such talent go unused.

It's visually pleasing (shiny footage) but doesn't go much farther than that. The lyrics seem to be totally ignored with the editor simply focused on getting the prettiest high-motion scenes on screen.

Overall, I'm just disappointed that it feels so soulless. The effects seem random and don't really add to the video at all. It looks like it may have been fun to edit from an experimental standpoint, but for a viewer it just looks all over the place.

I'd really love to see a video that truly embodies this song since it's easily my favorite from Oceanlab. Sadly, it looks like I'll keep waiting for that day.

Compared to previous works, this author clearly rested. All components of the passed.

This is actually a much older video compared to other videos that have been posted on AMVNews. So yeah, she's gotten much better since this video :D

This is one of those videos where even if you don't particularly enjoy it, you HAVE to give the man respect for his insane amount of effort.

As a big Utena fan, this is easily one of my favorite videos this year.

Great job.

I quite enjoyed a lot of the 3D layering but the character movement bugged me at times. It looked too smooth sometimes to the point that it looked really unnatural.

Such excellent atmosphere. Reminds me of the old days of multi-anime videos when they were about capturing raw emotion and not about showing off pretty scenes. So much heart and love

Sadly pancake.

While it's not the most technically impressive video ever, it's very funny. The editor's style in this video actually reminds me quite a bit of dokidoki.

They could just do basic lyric sync and create a very mildly amusing video but instead they put the extra effort in to insert jokes of their own. That customization and dedication help set it apart from other comedy videos and wins my respect.

Excellent crowd video and it made me laugh.

Considering it was made in about 7 days for an online contest, it's not bad at all. I don't think it should be compared to (This is) RANDOMNESS!? since Creed wasn't really forced to slap his video together in a week.

As a stand alone Iron Chef style video, it's fun. It's more interesting if you get the jokes, and if you don't get the jokes (meaning you haven't seen the original videos) it makes me very sad.

Not the best video ever, obviously, but it was a good try.

The oversync and effects killed it for me. :(

Your transitions reminded me of istiv. That is a good thing. As someone who doesn't even like One Piece, I loved this video.
