I didn't want to enjoy this but I did. It's not the best video ever but it's good enough and uses a sticky song. Not bad.

This video was a slow cruise into madness and I thank you so much for that. I love it so much.

And the credits were the sweetest cherry on top. Thank you for leaving it like that.

There are a lot of really great Dusk Maiden videos out there but it's always made me sad since they primarily concentrate on the horror and ignore the human aspect.
I really think this video does a fantastic job balancing both and it's easily one of my favorite AMVs this year

Oh hey, it's the new footage for every "Dance" AMV to come out until this time next year.

The reason this is effective is because it concentrates on the characters as opposed to "HAVE YOU SEEN THIS BITCH PLAY A VIOLIN? HAVE YOU FUCKING SEEN IT?! CUZ SHE GONNA PLAY IT AND HE GONNA PLAY DAT PIANO. YEEAAAAAH."

By making instruments and music plot devices instead of centering any and all focus around them, it gives it a more human element. It becomes about a sad little boy who finally finds a friend after being alone for a very long time, only to lose her too.

Wow, I totally forgot this AMV existed. It doesn't hold up as well as I remember it (I used to adore it) but it's OK for the time it came out. Journey of Hearts is still the best. :p
