Выдержка из комментария автора: This one is a full hearted character profile (in spite of not having entered in that category at Akross...) The story is centered on the protagonist of the anime, Chihaya, her pursuit to become to best karuta player in Japan and the people she's being supported by. The anime plays with the thematics of facing challenges and overcoming oneself in quite a dramatic manner and I wanted to convey all of this in my video. My simple idea here was to depict Chihaya's devotion towards karuta and her loyalty to the people she's close to even though she might get hurt in the process (hence the title). This whole video was one big camera movement experiment for me. It was fun to play with them. Even if it made some people nauseous :3

Here is my AMV for the Iron Chief SpeedProof 2nd edition. I made it on 3 days. It's the first time I am editing psychedelic amv and I am quite happy with the final result. Enjoy.

Выдержка из комментария автора: The title says what it means and means what it says. I'd been meaning to create a trailer for years, but I just couldn't figure out what I wanted to do. Then more recently I'd seen the Fast & Furious 6 trailer and really enjoyed it. All of a sudden an idea clicked. Thanks to my Iron Editor experience I was able to figure out a source that I wanted to use. I really had fun making this one and am pleased with how it turned out. It was also refreshing to make a completely new AMV outside of Iron Editor.

Комментарий автора (перевод): Начнем с того, что для меня это, вероятно, будет последний серьезный AMV. Это последняя часть трилогии, которую в 2009 году начал мой клип Live, а продолжил Mateotis. Могу только надеяться, что этот клип получит ту же долю признания, что и первые два... Людям ведь нравится драма. Это драма - драматичнее не придумаешь :) Я специально сконвертировал клип в 30 фпс и добавил черные полосы, для большей "кинематографичности". На этот раз я не стал вспоминать в клипе о личных проблемах и сосредоточился на более масштабных вещах, на всемирных явлениях. Нищета, ненависть, анархия, религия, жестокость. Весь мир стоит на грани. Пригасите свет, сделайте звук чуть погромче и отойдите подальше от монитора.
