Here is my second entry for the Project Org Editor contest. The prompt was to go with a season, holiday, or special time of the year. I chose the holiday "Pancake Day". Which yes, is a real thing. It's also known as Shrove Tuesday, but Pancake Day is just a lot more fun sounding. I don't do comedy/random videos often, so it's usually pretty entertaining for me when I do.

The inspiration and idea for this video came from this lovely improve scene. It also became the title as homage. Lol

Author's comment: Hi guys, as promised, here’s my first ‚new‘ video after about 5 years! (At least the first one I am uploading, hehe…) I decided to participate in the Project Org Editor contest again, because back in 2015 it inspired me to create some of my most cherished videos and with everything that’s going on, when would I ever find enough time again, right? There is something about pushing yourself to edit a video to a certain theme within a week that’s both challenging and inspiring. Admittedly, I enjoyed the experience more the last time around, but I am trying to find the passion and momentum I had for editing back in the day, so this is helping me tremendously.

Theme for this round was ‚‘tis the season’ and focused around holidays and seasons.

This is one of my oldest amv ideas that I've been hanging on to ever since I saw this movie a few years back, and my first non-anime AMV. I've been in love with this song for a long time and felt that it had the same vibe as this movie. I made this as a birthday present to the fabulous editor Nekokitkat, with few effects (crossfades and blurring only) using Adobe Premeire CC.

Author's comment: Welcome to Vivid Lights City where all your dreams and fears can come true.
Lives go on and cease to exist in a matter of seconds.

I've took interest in this contest due to the amount of investment from the Chinese community. Seeing so many good judges and special guests, such as Geoff Keighley - the creator/producer of Game Awards, was simply a no brainer that I had to create something unique and be able to impress people on such scale.

This year I chose to join the MAD/AMV category, committing to my desire to reproduce what can potentially be found in Night Wire City (Cyberpunk 2077) while taking an anime approach. It's always fun trying to combine both hobby and work and this project is just an example.
