This is my entry for Big Contest 2013. I can't say that I didn't have enough time to finish this but I certainly did not prepare myself to join this contest. This is my first time joining an AMV contest.
I started this AMV in February and only really finished the intro of it because I was working on other projects during that time. I decided to join this contest 6 days ago and only had 3 rough days to finish the main body of this as the deadline was still set on April the 15th..so excuse the weak editing at some parts of this AMV. I had this video done and prepared for the 15th before the deadline was extended to the 23rd.
I know this video lacks in concept/plot because I edited this in a "RANDOM ACTION MUSIC VIDEO" fashion but by the looks of, it could potentially have a short story in there.
So let me sum the main points: A couple broke up. She’s being hospitalized due to some illness. They look back into their past. The girl goes through a difficult phase in her life. She’s trying to fight off the obstacles with her best friend she met at school. The boy eventually became a victim as well (idk why). They later on found new mates. The boy finds out her true identity (and is shocked :o) . The new pair broke up because it didn’t work out?. She’s on the verge of suicide and her ex out of the blue appears and tries to save her. He succeeded and they once again look back into their past. Finally they found each other again and became dear, loving couples again.
Very random and unclear when watching the video but that’s what I got.. hope that makes it a bit more enjoyable to watch.
Initially this was made for a whole different purpose but I felt like it needed a bit more excitement to it so the contest came in handy... and well I know Russian folks love drum & bass music :3
It's definitely not my best work but I hope you enjoyed this :)

Согласен, первая минута была интересной. Но под такой драм реально сложно синхрить так, чтобы действительно канало. На мой взгляд попытка автора обыграть такой трек - это смело и заслуживает уважения. Пускай в целом клип мимо - но 4 я поставлю. Все-таки это AMV ориентировано на узкий круг зрителя. И, мне кажется, этому кругу AMV понравится) А значит - все правильно.

it is, in fact it's one of the solid points about this work, considering the time you spent working on this one it's clearly a very nice attempt, would like to see serious works from you, keep it up

oh and regarding the pace of the video... because some of you think it's too fast. I wasn't even syncing all the beats (that's literally impossible since the song goes at 170 beats per minute) in fact I was internal syncing most of the actions scenes..but I suppose you have to watch it more than twice to notice what I really did. I believe the song fits very well with the footage.
This. Точнее даже не минута, а первые секунд 30. Под этот трек акшон как то не смотрится.

Здесь же даже не запомнила толком, что просмотрела. АМВ очень нудное и затянутое, однообразное. Так и не поняла, была ли тут история, или нет. Из-за всего этого огорчена.

I believe there is no other way to execute this song correctly without a bit of action in it. Personally I think it would look bland without the actions scenes.

I think the music is a bit repetitive, but it is quite good for the amv.

thanks for the comment. I do believe the video could have been better if I showed a stronger vision to the story which I stated up in the description but as I already said...I wasn't working on this for very long and time was limited for me..so I had to go with something fast and something that catches the mood correctly...regardless of story.
Also a side note regarding the song: The song isn't really meant to be edited at all imo. It's a song that goes for almost 6 minutes long and I'm 100% sure it's meant to be mixed in with another song a.k.a a song you use to DJ. Just saying that because it seems repetitive to most of the viewers.

Why do you think that (the?) random can make video more enjoyable to watch? I don't think so, becouse I need relationship between the parts of amv. I am sure that have you more time, would be obtained nice work.
Клип однообразный и затянутый. Трек не меняется почти три минуты, как будто 10 секунд музыки зациклили на 3 минуты, и поэтому с такой одинаковой синхрой и рендомным подбором кадров смотрится скучно.
Попытался вспомнить положительные моменты, чтобы выставить оценку и понял, что кроме начала (первые 20 сек) ничего не помню в принципе. Наверное всё таки 3.
Досматривать не хотелось после второй минуты.
