Niwa (Pro): Me and Laerium have gone through different kind of challenges in this project, but from it we gained some new knowledge and techniques which helped us finish this project. Since the beginning, I knew Laerium had the potential of evolving her own style into something much more, and that was my goal. In the end, I was amazed of the result and her progress, the video itself was simple but it had so much relation and feeling together with the music, which is a important piece for a music video in my opinion. I was glad being her tutor and her good friend during this process.
Laerium (Novice): It's my first time entering a contest like this, and so, I loved to work with Niwa. He's a really good beta tester, and helped me a lot. I like criticism, and I usually asked advice to some friends, but people don't do good beta testing. I was glad to find an awesome sensei and friend =D
But now about the AMV itself: as Niwa said, we went with a simple, yet different romance AMV. It's not a lovey-dovey or drama thing like usually; so don't expect that type of video. We wanted to go for something fun and enjoyable, since usually people tend to do more depressing, dramatic or dark video styles. In the end, I think I improved my techniques overall ^^
By the way! A contest for the viewers: if you count the ammount of fish on this AMV, you'll earn a cookie :'D

Shoot, I didn't mean that. I said about feelings while watching, not about color. I mean that spectator is awaiting for 1 cake before the watching, but get 3. Too much emotions, some kind of hyperactivity.
It was all about feelings, not the picture.

If Lukw made an excellent sentimental-romance, than here we see very pretty and light fun-romance..%)
Author definitely know how to feel m/v. Very fully-fledged, precise, quite concepted and building nice mood and atmosphere.
But now about some rough edges. They are here too, not many, but still..
Some speedups were too noticeable and getting out of rhythm.
0:25 - lipsynch? If yes - unacceptable, if not - to harsh, it would be better to remove fast mouth movements.
1:49 - 1:55 - understood the idea, but, imho, with these texts and arrow - it was a little bit too out of overall picture and concept.
So overall, fully objectively, there is very and very strong 4 here. But I can say, that I really enjoyed it and it makes me enough subjective to rate it 5. %)
About the levelup. Lets see.. I've seen previous author's works..even all of them straight away, because liked them. %) They were pretty strong already. I can see more complex montage and tech here, but not very drastic difference.
I'd say that its rather very right and smooth progression with steady style. And that kind of levelup is just right for real author with style. GJ. %)
В целом, хорошо, но такое позитивное инди и необычный исходник уже сами по себе дают ощутимый эффект.

Мне тоже пришлось по вкусу. монтаж хороший, не знаю правда как с движением камеры, исходник это или автор постарался, но вкусно получилось.
Исходник не видела и думала что по этому аниме можно тока какую-нить психоделику сляпать, но тем не менее это оказалось не так. в общем 5, осталась довольна работой.
Заметим, это, но другие сцены не вписывались
А для новичка вообще круто, хорошо сработались в паре, отличная работа GJ!

м/в доставило. вообще хотелось бы побольше подобных работ. ну и вторая работа от иностранной пары на коне, которая понравилась. явно получила удовольствие от просмотра.
