LavenderLily2 (Novice) (Previous works / Предыдущие работы): Hello, this is my submission to Level Up 2015. I paired up with AdventLostKaichou for this contest. It's my first time submitting to a competition. I chose to work with Pandora Hearts, Puella Magi Madoka Magica and Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle because they are my favorite series. They also share a theme of desperation and sacrifice in trying to save a person the characters each respectively care about. This is something I thought the song I picked would show very well, which is why I went with it. I chose the title of "Trial of Sisyphus" because they all go through trials while trying to save the people they love, and the story of Sisyphus is about a man who has to roll a boulder up a mountain every day, only for it to fall back to the base before he's reached the top. Basically, their efforts are futile but they keep trying anyway.

AdventLostKaichou (Pro): Advent here! Wanted to say it was a pleasure working with Lily. I pushed her pretty hard, especially considering she ended up only having a few short weeks to edit her entry between all of her exams and schoolwork. Good work putting up with me, Lily, I think that was probably the hardest part of this challenge for you!

Anyway, the goal of this video was to teach her how to build scenes in a manga video. It takes practice to build nice-looking scenes, and I'm glad we decided to focus on that instead of teaching her how to animate. Animating takes a LONG time, and with the time crunch we found ourselves in, we ended up having to cut out the second half of the video (the first chorus onwards) because we didn't have enough time. We didn't realize the deadline had been extended until after we submitted the video...Whoops! Well, c'est la vie. I'm proud to say she still learned a lot and she managed to surprise me several times with the stuff she came up with for the video (like some of the minor animations she did, since I didn't teach her how and I certainly didn't tell her to!) So I'm proud of you, Lily, and if you want to do this again with me next year with a focus on animation, I'm a go for it!

Сделана она за ~7 часов, к сожалению я плохо подготовился и был занят в те дни, когда оно проводилось, но я еле как нашел время и слепил что-то по быстрому. Комментарий автора: This video is the sequel of Tritium 1.0: In Crescendo. In 2013, I was going to premiere first this video and then Death Silence, but things happened so this one had to wait until now. In the first episode I left some plot spaces for Yami since she didn't have enough appearances in the first one so this one is dedicated to er and also there's a new character. Just to clarify: The two blue-hair characters are the same person in the 'story'/ You might have to check the first episode if you haven't in case you don't get some of the flashbacks in the video. They're self explanatory though. Again, the formula of a crossover featuring CODE BREAKER with Bleach and To Love Ru characters, and the first appareance of a Naruto one. Resulta ser que no es el ultimo video que haria en el 2014. Falta aun otro video: Bad Dog The Remix asi que ese es el que sigue en Diciembre, esperenlo :) Quise hacer el vídeo con el primer logo de ZonaAMV, me puse nostálgico. Buena suerte competidores. Комментарий автора: the finale to my series of Magi amvs! I wanted to match the mood and song style of my previous videos while at the same time showing a sort of evolution of the concept (it's not a third wavin' flag video! :D). I also wanted to show how much I've improved since my first Magi video xD

The focus of this AMV is Aladdin who I feel got the shaft in the first season of the anime despite being the proper protagonist. I wanted to convey the sense of hope present in the character as well as in the series. I switch between story and random bits a lot but I felt like it was necessary in order to match the feeling of the song. I had some quality issues trying to find sources but hopefully it came together well enough to make a good video!

Комментарий автора: Ну и снова я с новым клипом... всё никак не бросается это дело. :) В принципе работой доволен, фэйдами и стробом не буду вас мучить, длинной продолжительностью тоже, все старался делать в меру и аккуратно.

I love Gargantia for it's beautiful animations and great story. However, Gargantia is in dire need of more AMVs and i mean not just that one dance scene over and over again. The Anime has a lot to offer so here is my take on it.
