Я тогда искала песню для видео про Хагуми и Мориту, но случайно наткнулась на эту (в переводе она называется "Песня холста") и поняла, что она идеально подходит для Хагуми и ее Шу-тяна. Приятного просмотра.

Комментарий автора: This AMV was really hard to make.
I tried to start and finish this project three times, but each one of these were unsuccessful. Part of this is because anime and manga don't really ever cover the topic of eating disorders. They are few and far in between, and even then the ones that do bring it up do so very subtlety. This was one of the huge struggles with putting this together -- making a convincing and revealing AMV with characters that suffer from such issues. This AMV is meant to bring awareness to the power of media, but most of all, to the fact that eating disorders can affect anyone, at any point in their life. The metaphor of the water reflects the hold of an eating disorder and how insidious it can be. Grasping for breath is extremely difficult, the current can be so strong. Even with the love of those around you, it is possible to slip into the deep end.
To the ones who couldn't make it back to land, may your rest in peace.
To the ones who live to fight another day, I wish for your recovery.
To the families who know this pain, I hope for these wounds to heal.

Комментарий автора: I was originally going to do something very different with this anime, but when I turned some clips black and white, I realized this anime actually goods kind of great in black and white, most look awful to me, and so I wanted to make an experimental video kind of revolving around colors and things of that nature. I am pretty OK with how it turned out, but I can't say I'm satisfied because of the tragic tale described in the longer description.

So this was actually first "completed" back in February, but there was a lot I wanted to fix up. Unfortunately, the laptop I was using at the time did not appreciate the amount of After Effects files I had on the project, and it would freak out every time I tried to change it. I got frustrated and decided to take a break for a few months, and then managed to fix up a lot of the video. However, after that happened, it would refuse to render and give me a ton of errors no matter what I did so I stopped again for a few more months. Cut to now when I decided to try and tackle the render issues, and right after I start, everything gets corrupted. I am tired of fighting with this project, and honestly just kinda want it uploaded so I don't have to think about it anymore. Unfortunately, that means this is pretty unfinished since the version with a ton of cleanups was what ended up being corrupted so here is the older version haha. I did learn a lot from the project despite my frustration, and it has given me ideas for the future when I can hopefully release a video using a lot of these ideas except not nearly as messy. I am sorry for the delay that ended up not really paying off.

A Bakemonogatari prequel film series called Kizumonogatari has been released recently. It's pretty insane and worth your time, even if you're not into the rest of the franchise. I picked a song from the Neon Demon soundtrack. Both deal with slightly similar themes and it matched the tone of how i saw these films. I would recommend watching the Anime before this AMV, but if you're just curious about what is great about Kizumonogatari go watch this AMV.

Комментарий автора: This is the first AMV that I really liked and loved, so I thought of doing a pure remaster, sync it frame by frame, using the exact same "effects", keeping the aspect ratio and see how it stands today. Unfortunately, all the scenes from "Hellsing TV" and "Armitage III: Poly Matrix" were not reusable, so I decided to use Hellsing Ultimate and tried to keep as close to the original concept as possible.
