This is the first time for me to participate in Big Contest. This is also my first project in Dance genre, probably this won't be similar with others' work, but this is my take on the genre.

During the process of viewing and choosing my sources, I have seen a lot of stories that encouraged us to persuit our dreams. Even though there are pains and suffering in the way, but through courage and persistant, we will finally achieve success. In reality, we might be defeated and lost our interests to every other obstacles that life throw at us, but I still believe that everyone has their own stage in their hearts. Just like these heroines in the story, as long as we keep on believing in our dreams, we will continue to shine.

Only if I had idea what was I doing... Liked the beat so initially made it to scratch that itch. Didn't intended to finish it, but then again I liked the beat and didn't noticed when it edited itself. Lyrics didn't particularly rock my boat, but nevertheless had fun playing around them.

The reason why I decided to make this Amv was because I had a dream that I was editing with this song for the contest xD SOOOO why not "following the dream and make it come true?" wao... this sounds so weird but it's true :'D but before I decided making an Amv with this song and theme, I was experimenting with 2 another animes and songs but I failed... so this is my 3rd Amv I tried. I hope you enjoy the theme and style of this video, because I worked with colors that I actually never really work with xD (that dirty green tho) It was also funny to follow the "cops and robbers theme" and put those moustaches in their faces XD

Комментарий автора: Well, this video was something simple and fun that I wanted to make after watching Ben-To. I've seen Ben-To used in many other AMVs in the past but it always devolved into senseless fight scenes with no context. The story and personality of this show are it's biggest assets and were what kept me watching to the end. Sure the fighting is awesome, but knowing the ridiculous reason these fights are happening and what the characters motivations are is where the show really shines. So with this video I wanted to make something that would portray the show and story in the amusing way it is meant to be watched. The main goal of the editing was to create a story that paralleled the original show's plot and looked like one seamless fight. I also got a chance to try using some epic music. :P It was the first time I used orchestral music and it was fun to sync the big grandiose beats. Hopefully this video makes you smile and inspires you to go check out Ben-To since it is such a great show.
