3-gatsu is my favorite drama/slice of life anime and I think the reason it works so well is because the sad and darker scenes of the story make me appreciate the happier scenes even more! That's my goal for the video, use a balanced mix of sad and happy scenes to create an incredibly cute and happy atmosphere overall. Also this song is just such a perfect fit, I want to show how to Rei, the Kawamoto family are like "flowers in a desolate world". I tried to keep a focus on Rei throughout the amv, because that's my personal favorite part of this anime: Rei's character growth-- I love that, if we view the Kawamoto siblings as the flowers that keep Rei going, keep him appreciating the world around him, then the shining point of the show is really how Rei grows to become a person who truly treasures and cares for those flowers in his life more than anybody else.

Всем привет. Сделал клип на это аниме, знаю, что баян, но все же решился сделать, так как оно было начатое и даже раньше, чем мой клип на Big Contest 2019. На этот раз без драмы и экшена, решился сделать романтику. Клип о выступлении, концерте и как бы теплых воспоминаниях героев. Концовку сделал такую, можно сказать, чуточку другую, нестандартную, но и не сложную, что-то простое такое. Всем приятного просмотра.

My motivation behind the video:

This video is really personal because of the themes involved in it. I won't go too into detail with its meaning since I did make it with the intention of making the interpretation flexible. I essentially wanted to make a video about mental health and dealing with mental health issues in a way that is not self-destructive. I often see people either belittling mental health problems or glorifying them, and I wanted to make a video that avoided stretching into either territory. Mental health issues should not be shamed, but they are still issues that should be at least managed in as healthy of a way as possible. I was inspired to approach the subject this way due to my own ongoing journey with my mental health problems, and while I definitely still have a long way to go, I have certainly come a long way too.

The process of making the video:

Oh boy, so this video has been on a journey. I originally started this general concept right after the first season finished with a different song. I knew I'd have better footage if I waited for the second, so I did. Unfortunately, the first song I tried didn't work out, and there were several different song combinations with this anime I attempted afterword for about a year and a half before I settled on this one in early December. Since then, I have reworked the video 4 different times before settling on the direction I ended up taking with it.

Yo, Big Contest peeps! This is a Bakugo profile video that I actually meant to finish before my last video "New Kings" about ze BNHA bad guys, but here it is now :p! I really wanted this one to be crisp, mostly raw, and aggressive to fit Bakugo's character. Lol I had so many flashy things I wanted to layer on, but I held back because it honestly only served my desire to play around editing and not so much the feel of the video.

May our nations heal and come together over this silly AMV :p. Haha have fun watching it; I had a kickass time making it.

Всем добра. Снова космос-стайл в готическом-греческом от меня))) Итак... начну, пожалуй все по порядку.
- Данное ММВ создавалось на протяжении 8-9 месяцев в Sony Vegas, кроме двух фреймов в конце (не дружу с АЕ). Работа началась задолго до моего клипа "Sky Garden" (это был мой "экспериментальный" клип, так как он с похожей концепцией. Его я кинула на растерзание ради этой работы). В данную конкурсную работу я вложила все свои эмоции, делала с душой. Давно планировала сделать нечто атмосферное и необычное. И тут подвернулась к прочтению манга "Холст забвения". Обожаю ее) Аниме по ней существует, но, по непонятной мне причине, на адаптацию продолжения истории надеяться не приходиться. А жаль. Аниме "The Lost Canvas" остановилось только на 1/3 повествования всего сюжета манги. Да и адаптация мне не особо понравилась, хотя там и рисовка хороша, но нет той атмосферы, которая есть в манге.
- О манге. Исходник "Saint Seiya: The Lost Canvas". Манга - произведение черно-белое, так что всем любителям цветастого - это не сюда) да и в цвете смысла не было, так как основные цвета в этой истории это черный и белый. Покрасить решено было акцентами некоторые элементы (выбор пал на синий, красный и лиловый). Большое внимание, особенно ближе к середине, уделено пейзажам. Многие фреймы нарисованы мною с нуля, так как подходящих просто не нашлось, ну и соответственно убрала все звуковые вставки из манги (они обычно на пол листа)))
- За "центр" истории клипа я взяла героя Алона (он же Аид). Вся сюжетная линия у меня построена на его мировозрении и жизненном пути. Другие персонажи присутствующие тут, так или иначе повлияли него, это Пандора и 2 друга детства (Тенма и Саша).
- Теперь про музыку. Epica – шикарная и любимая мною группа, думаю вы уже поняли из прошлых работ, что я люблю симфо металл) эта песня подходит, как по мне, идеально к данной истории. Смотрите с сабами) каждый кадр подобран под текст песни, так что слова со смыслом, а не просто атмосферу задают)
Посмотрите мейкинг. Сравните фреймы, там такая красота и эпичность на страничках (мангака постарался на славу) и да, рисовка манги божественна, в прямом смысле этого слова).
- Клип вышел снова пафосным, что ли) но под такой исходник иначе быть и не может). Мейкинг сделала в 2х вариантах: картинкой для удобства и видео (кому не лень потратить 4 минуты)

Комментарий Shin: This song kinda lived and Breathed Yuri Kuma to me. Seemed like a perfect collab idea to do with Xophi. It was fun to make, and we tried a lot of experimental things to be artsy and give the video some personality.

It's that time of year again, Big Contest! I wasn't going to participate this year, but I came across Sunset by the Midnight, and it immediately clicked with Uchiage Hanabi in my mind. I ended up putting this together in about 3 weeks or so, which is rather compared to the amount of work I put into it. There was more I'd like to have done, but I really wanted it to be in the contest. I'm satisfied though with the results. I hope everyone else enjoys the project as much as I do.

Комментарий автора: I just wanted to say this anime looks amazing, I watched it all and was amazed by the characters and I like how it brought me that Toradora feeling! I missed those types of anime and that's why I decided to do something with it :) The song is my favorite, especially the Illenium remix because it gives it more of an emotional touch. Don't worry about any spoilers because I didn't follow the exact story in the anime but rather used the later episode even in the first scene :D This took me around... 1-3 weeks? It took long because I was waiting for the episode to be release but other than that, I reallllly enjoyed making this! I tried my best to make it smooth as possible and I hope you like it! Sorry for the no upload during the 3 weeks, but I got more amv done so I will be uploading it this week yayy

Если все пойдет хорошо, то в клипе будут русские субтитры (спасибо Minstrel). Да, я чуть ли не силой заставляю вас вникать в слова песни. Надеюсь они зацепят вас так же, как и меня.
Что касается в целом работы... Самая длительная моя работа (как в плане времени создания, так и в плане метража).
Задачей было показать как можно больше незаезженных кадров из исходника и обыграть профайлы трех персонажей.
На 95% я работой доволен. Лично я недоволен парой-тройкой кадров, но достойные замены я не смог найти.
Вообще, после титров должна была быть небольшая сцена, но по какой-то причине, вегас не сохранял видео с выше 2гб, поэтому концовку пришлось вырезать. Отсюда, кстати, следует просьба. Шарящие авторы и зрители, я прошу неравнодушных скинуть мне в лс свои настройки рендеров, кодеки и т.д. Кажется пришло время переходить с лагарита на что-то другое.
P.s. кстати, после того, как клип был просимплен - в мп4 версии как-будто немного сьехала синхра, буквально на микросекундочку. Либо у меня паранойя, либо симпл приколы вбрасывает.
