Комментарий автора: So, after a year of not having a (truly) competitive AMV, I'm back with this. I'm damn happy with it. I've always wanted to do rotoscoping, but I was too nervous of the time commitment. When I picked up this AMV and started rotoscoping for the first time, though, I found it went shockingly fast. I'm quite proud of how the lip syncing has gone as well. With any luck, I can pick up a few awards for this one - assuming people learn about Stein's;Gate fast enough for it to become relevant.

Клип делался специально для участия в конкурсе Nan Desu Kan 2010. Автор отмечает, что пришлось поторопиться для того, чтобы уложиться в дедлайн, поэтому вторая часть клипа вышла менее проработанной, чем первая.

Клип, сделанный для финального раунда конкурса Project Org Editor 2 Season (проводится в несколько этапов, участники постепенно выбывают из борьбы, пока не останется только один). В финале участникам было предложено сделать AMV, похожее на самую первую из их работ, когда-либо выложенных в сети.
Shin выбрал песню, под которую делал когда-то клип для показа на своей свадьбе, и создал профиль главных героев сериала Usagi Drop - отца-одиночки и его дочери.

Комментарий автора: Voici donc mon clip pour la JE , à la base je ne voulais même pas clipper à cause du manque de temps flagrant que j'avais, le concept je l'avais déja en téte, mais je ne voulais pas le baclé, mais c'est grâce à Creed qui m'a super bien motivé, que j'ai eu le courage de faire ce clip, en à peine 10 jours sachant que j'avais mon travail de fin d'étude à finir à coté xD
Malgré les défauts, je ne regrette pas d'avoir fait ce clip, j'ai pas poussé mon idée à fond, mais ça m'a quand même permis d'avoir une excellente place à la JE. J'ajoute aussi que ça m'a fait super plaisir de vous voir tous ( ou presque ) en vrai à la JE, je m'attendais pas à avoir un tel acceuille, et merci à ceux qui ont pu "commenter" mon clip sur place xD

Давненько я ничего не выкладывал на Ньюс. А тут весьма кстати захотелось сделать романтический клип. Захотел - сделал. Правда, сложно сказать чего в нем больше: романтики или эротизма. Пробовал добавить бытовухи, чтобы не слащаво было... Все же ценный, редкий для amv исходник.
Большая благодарность Lord_D за помощь в очистке видео. Основная версия клипа - десятибитная. Если у вас проблемы с кодеками, или железом, на Орге представлена восьмибитная копия.

This project took me a littmy AMVs. I used live action footage from the music video to the song and well I'm sure not everyone will like that (ele over 5 months to complete. I spent at least a good 160+ hours on it (I used up at least 40-45 of those hours messing with pan/crops). 

This is by far the most time consuming and therein rewarding project I've ever attempted and I can finally say that I'm satisfied with one of specially considering the bad quality of the footage). I did it mainly because the song and the music video are both great in that they give off a positive message, it's hard not to smile or feel happy when watching/listening to them. I thought of it as my way of paying tribute to the music video.

I feel that the concept of looking for something beautiful reflects on the reason that many of us watch anime. In a sense, anime is giving us both fuel for thought and subtle glimpses of beauty (both aesthetic and sentimental).

I ran into a few things that were simply out of my control, like the quality of the music video for one. But it's to be expected since the music video was compiled from fan-submitted footage. One thing that particularly stands out is that the entire first part of the amv is in grayscale. This is gonna be one of those hit or miss situations but I felt it was necessary to match my editing with the music video (since most of it is in grayscale). Another thing that will be hit or miss is my use of pan/crops. I feel that I effectively used pan/crops throughout most of the video, but then again that's based on what I was trying to portray. I tried to replicate the "shaky-hand" effect that home footage usually has and I think I got it right at some parts and failed miserably at others.

Note: I used very few anime Op's and Ed's. I tried to be discrete with the ones I did use by selecting clips that are not easily identifiable (but there are exceptions to this of course, like the Air OP)

On a side note, this AMV literally killed my social life and probably took a few months off of my life from all the meals I skipped and the time I spent sitting down lol. But now that I'm finally done with it I can't help but feel that it was all worth it. I think that's all I have to say for now, hope you guys enjoy it!

This amv is special to me because it not only has a feel-good vibe but because it also gives me the rare opportunity to make people smile (cheesy but bare with it).
