There is actually nothing to say about this AMV. Let me tell you something about modern metropolis instead.

The modern metropolis is a strange living organism. It grows. It sucks people into it. It lures them with opportunities and excitement. Its chaos hold together by a strange order and rhythm. In this cycle day and night fade together. To be awake or to sleep doesn't matter. Everything is running and up all the time. New technologies creep in and flip your life upside down. You've been to a place yesterday and now there is a new hive of apartments, offices and living quarters. The metropolis hunger drew it out from seemingly nowhere. Art installations break you up in your routine and attack your senses like guerrilla warriors. Some try to escape their dream day like state. However daily life has a tight grip on them. The sense of loneliness and sadness keeps creeping in, while you are surrounded by masses of anonymous faces, that don't matter to you. Some try to break free from the repetition and succeed. They got enough money to flee to rural areas or distant lose suburbs. Either you are a part of the monster, or you run and never come back.

This is the 21st Century Metropolis.

On a personal note: This is heavily inspired to my trips to the sprawls of Tokyo and Osaka. Those who were there, might understand my feelings. It calls to me again. After years of Covid I'm eager to go again.

Technical notes: This is a wild mix of anime, live action, stock material, found footage, fotos and 3D graphics. All held together by a colour scheme and pixelart. This took a lot of time, with a lot of long breaks and a complete overhaul. However, when I see the result, I don't want this any other way. I can't believe I indulged this madness and finished it!

This video is focused on Love Triangle anime, I used some classic anime with the purpose of showing different series that with their own style deals with the theme: Video Girl Ai, Orange Road, Maison Ikkoku and The Rose of Versailles are the most important that still now they continue to inspire new works.
I hope you will like the video, it didn't really come out how I imagined but I got really tired after Sony Vegas crashed 102 times, yes, I counted them.

I was inspired to make this after watching the short film, whereupon watching the final scene I got the idea to use this old Foo Fighters song. This only took me 5 or 6 days to edit, mostly late at night after coming home from work. It turned into a tribute video to the late drummer for the band, Taylor Hawkins. Edited entirely in Adobe Premiere.

When miHoYo announced the Genshin Impact Anniversary Video Contest, I immediately started editing this video, but I didn't even come close to being done in time. And I probably would have dropped the entire project if my friends BecauseImBored and PantsAMV hadn't encouraged me to finish it. In the end, I'm glad that I took my time because not only was I able to add in all the characters that were released after I started, but I also managed to add at least 1 scene of every playable character in the game (as of March 18, 2022). And there are also a few unreleased characters like Baizhu, Dainsleif, and Ayato. I'm really happy with how this turned out, and so I hope you all can enjoy it as well.

Ежегодная микс кат драма 2021 года. Материал включает около 200 фан-драм, театральных анимаций, короткометражных анимационных фильмов и некоторых игровых ОП, которые были выпущены в 2021 году. Этот микс был для меня вызовом, и я также испытал много неудач (в основном вырезание большого количества контента) и, наконец, разделение его на 3 части, которые тронули меня больше всего: страсть, борьба и ожидания будущего. Time cannot be reversed, but the timeline can be (manual dog head) TOS2021 2nd in creative category, 3rd in drama category, nominated for best artistic conception. Congratulations to the TOS for the perfect ending. The last week's whim of the manuscript caught up with the last TOS, and also played full attendance for the four TOS competitions, full of sense of accomplishment. I really didn't expect Zhou Shao's manuscript to win an award (inner OS: He De He Neng...) Dedicated to the final TOS idol general election, as well as all the beautiful past.

I wanted to try editing with more of a instrumental-style music track and the slow, mysterious / sad sort of vibes this song gave off made me really want to pair it with this anime.

I also combined it with some scenes from Weathering with You, the theme of rain in both of these anime made them perfect for each other. Not much fancy editing in this one, although I did put a fair amount of effort into some of the transitions and custom phone overlays and masks to help convey the story a bit better.

I hope you enjoy it. Depending on how busy I am, i'm hoping to work on a bigger project now that this is done.

So, I was driving and heard this song on the radio and I was like... TF. My mind just shot up with ideas and I knew this anime movie was underrated and had the same plot as the lyrics. I just knew it would connect so well so I checked it out and BOOOOM. It was so perfect. The visuals were so stunning and beautiful. The flow and how the scenes matched just made it feel so natural and since many people were complaining about my effects. I tried playing around with filters and guess what? I now know why fans were telling me use filters because it makes the scenes pop out so much!!!! So thanks for the suggestion, I hope I didn't overkill on the effects lol Anways, I hope everyone is doing well over there, and I hope you enjoy this amv as much as I did :)
