Комментарий автора: Decided to make a little something for Akross this year, but since I'm the most unorganized person that never has a plan, I didn't make the deadline. I did end up submitting a raw untouched version after the deadline because what the heck. :shrug: Anyways, here is the complete version with some changes in scenes that were originally just thrown in there to fill in the space. Let me know what you guys think.

Eazy (Novice) (Previous works / Предыдущие работы): Level Up was a great expierence for me and I am glad that I gave it a shot. Centurione is a very kind and patient person, who gave me lots of great advices and I feel like I've learnt a lot, especially about the basics. I am glad that I managed to finish my Video in time, even tough my time management was horrible.

Centurione (Pro): With this video I was trying to give some advices to Eazy about, how he mentioned himself, the basics in editing AMVs which later allow you to do whatever you want if you manage them well, with keeping up the flow, changing the pace throught a video etc. I'm also glad he wanted to make a Sentimental video rather than an actiony one, cause it's easier to notice all these things and what's more important: all details don't get pushed away by lots of movement in the scene. I hope I managed to give him some basics to go on with some fancy editing of his own liking ;)

Комментарий автора: I'm guessing a Fruitless Loop is a Fruit Loop with artificial coloring. Oh wait. This was a fun little project I made in around half a weekend or 12 effective hours, scene gathering included. I wanted to recapture the atmosphere of the original music video for Adrian Sieber's song, in a similar gif-like fashion.

Obsidian Zero (Novice) (Previous works / Предыдущие работы): Creating this video for Level Up 2015 was an exciting and challenging experience. As soon as I heard of this anime, I knew that I wanted to edit with it. I am a violinist, and the concept of this video connected with me on a personal level. I have to admit that working with an ongoing anime series was incredibly difficult, as I didn’t have the complete series to use, but I feel I was able to put together an impactful video with Mycathatesyou’s help. LavenderLily2 (Novice) (Previous works / Предыдущие работы): Hello, this is my submission to Level Up 2015. I paired up with AdventLostKaichou for this contest. It's my first time submitting to a competition. I chose to work with Pandora Hearts, Puella Magi Madoka Magica and Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle because they are my favorite series. They also share a theme of desperation and sacrifice in trying to save a person the characters each respectively care about. This is something I thought the song I picked would show very well, which is why I went with it. I chose the title of "Trial of Sisyphus" because they all go through trials while trying to save the people they love, and the story of Sisyphus is about a man who has to roll a boulder up a mountain every day, only for it to fall back to the base before he's reached the top. Basically, their efforts are futile but they keep trying anyway.

AdventLostKaichou (Pro): Advent here! Wanted to say it was a pleasure working with Lily. I pushed her pretty hard, especially considering she ended up only having a few short weeks to edit her entry between all of her exams and schoolwork. Good work putting up with me, Lily, I think that was probably the hardest part of this challenge for you!

Anyway, the goal of this video was to teach her how to build scenes in a manga video. It takes practice to build nice-looking scenes, and I'm glad we decided to focus on that instead of teaching her how to animate. Animating takes a LONG time, and with the time crunch we found ourselves in, we ended up having to cut out the second half of the video (the first chorus onwards) because we didn't have enough time. We didn't realize the deadline had been extended until after we submitted the video...Whoops! Well, c'est la vie. I'm proud to say she still learned a lot and she managed to surprise me several times with the stuff she came up with for the video (like some of the minor animations she did, since I didn't teach her how and I certainly didn't tell her to!) So I'm proud of you, Lily, and if you want to do this again with me next year with a focus on animation, I'm a go for it!

Kazeshin (Novice): Here is my AMV for the Level Up 2015, if you want to improve you should try the Level Up , it's really an awesome experience :).Draga was my Pro , he met my expectations and knew how to guide me through all the video , but that's not all , he also knew how to motivate me when i had problems and he complimented me when i needed it.I made the most of all this to implement my first "real" story, i also tried retouching, it was really cool!

Anyway, let's take a look at the story! The video tells the story of a perfect love between Aika (the girl with the brown hair) and Yoshino (the man with the brown hair too).But one day ,Yoshino found Aika dead so he wondered who could have killed his girlfriend.The Young man will visit the grave of the deceased and a strange phenomenon occurs , the time is rewinding.He will have the chance to witness the truth about Aika's Death, he realizes then that the killer is her best friend Hakaze (the girl with the pink hair) who killed her out of jealousy.

Draga (Pro): It's my second year as a Pro for the Level Up, and i can say that it's really an awesome experience, Kaze' asked me to be his Pro and i'm really glad for that because he was a serious novice, he was really active, he send me a lot of previews, asked me how to change few things many times, well to make it simple, he tried his best to realize the story he had in mind with the best outcome, his improvement really surprized me, this is without a doubt his Best AMV and i hope he'll keep up like this in the future, i hope you'll like his video!

The anime has contained very strong and I tried to express them best with this AMV. I tried to follow the lyrics of the song because fit well with the Anime.

Комментарий автора: I started this AMV in 2012 when I finished this anime and Call me Maybe was a thing. However literally everyone and their mothers was editing with this song. And even though I wanted to use a cover I thought people would hate the video simply because by that point everyone was really sick of it. So I put it away in my graveyard of dead betas.

However this year I wanted to finish something for Valentines Day, and I stumbled upon this beta again. I love this cover of the song. I think it takes Carly Rae's cutesie classic and makes it really romantic and intimate. I think it really fits this pair - and if you have watched the anime I think you would agree. If you haven't seen it I hope this AMV inspires you to watch it. It's one of the best shoujo's I have seen and the love story between these two is really sweet and real. Also gonna plug the artist who sings this song Paradise Fears. They are quite good and ya'll should give them love.

I wanted to try lots of new stuff with this video -- mainly some effects that could verge on "Candy" style. I did some things I am really proud of and learned lots of new stuff. Maybe someday in the future I'll make something that takes these effects a little further. There are definitely some things I could clean up in this - like making the lipsync a little tighter and some of the masks. But I am calling this project done.

Комментарий автора: Hi everyone, this is an attempt to make something pretty using an instrumental song that I fell in love with a while ago. It comes from the soundtrack of the "House of Flying Daggers", more specifically a memorable romantic scene. I know that the combination of a lack of lyrics and the relatively slow pace of the music can appear offputting in principle for an AMV, but it finally turned into an interesting challenge :).

I happened to finish it around December so I took the opportunity to enter it into Akross Contest. Thank you for watching :)
