3-gatsu is my favorite drama/slice of life anime and I think the reason it works so well is because the sad and darker scenes of the story make me appreciate the happier scenes even more! That's my goal for the video, use a balanced mix of sad and happy scenes to create an incredibly cute and happy atmosphere overall. Also this song is just such a perfect fit, I want to show how to Rei, the Kawamoto family are like "flowers in a desolate world". I tried to keep a focus on Rei throughout the amv, because that's my personal favorite part of this anime: Rei's character growth-- I love that, if we view the Kawamoto siblings as the flowers that keep Rei going, keep him appreciating the world around him, then the shining point of the show is really how Rei grows to become a person who truly treasures and cares for those flowers in his life more than anybody else.

Всем привет. Сделал клип на это аниме, знаю, что баян, но все же решился сделать, так как оно было начатое и даже раньше, чем мой клип на Big Contest 2019. На этот раз без драмы и экшена, решился сделать романтику. Клип о выступлении, концерте и как бы теплых воспоминаниях героев. Концовку сделал такую, можно сказать, чуточку другую, нестандартную, но и не сложную, что-то простое такое. Всем приятного просмотра.

My motivation behind the video:

This video is really personal because of the themes involved in it. I won't go too into detail with its meaning since I did make it with the intention of making the interpretation flexible. I essentially wanted to make a video about mental health and dealing with mental health issues in a way that is not self-destructive. I often see people either belittling mental health problems or glorifying them, and I wanted to make a video that avoided stretching into either territory. Mental health issues should not be shamed, but they are still issues that should be at least managed in as healthy of a way as possible. I was inspired to approach the subject this way due to my own ongoing journey with my mental health problems, and while I definitely still have a long way to go, I have certainly come a long way too.

The process of making the video:

Oh boy, so this video has been on a journey. I originally started this general concept right after the first season finished with a different song. I knew I'd have better footage if I waited for the second, so I did. Unfortunately, the first song I tried didn't work out, and there were several different song combinations with this anime I attempted afterword for about a year and a half before I settled on this one in early December. Since then, I have reworked the video 4 different times before settling on the direction I ended up taking with it.

Комментарий Shin: This song kinda lived and Breathed Yuri Kuma to me. Seemed like a perfect collab idea to do with Xophi. It was fun to make, and we tried a lot of experimental things to be artsy and give the video some personality.

Комментарий автора: I just wanted to say this anime looks amazing, I watched it all and was amazed by the characters and I like how it brought me that Toradora feeling! I missed those types of anime and that's why I decided to do something with it :) The song is my favorite, especially the Illenium remix because it gives it more of an emotional touch. Don't worry about any spoilers because I didn't follow the exact story in the anime but rather used the later episode even in the first scene :D This took me around... 1-3 weeks? It took long because I was waiting for the episode to be release but other than that, I reallllly enjoyed making this! I tried my best to make it smooth as possible and I hope you like it! Sorry for the no upload during the 3 weeks, but I got more amv done so I will be uploading it this week yayy
