This video is a remake of a Youjo Senki AMV that I made 3 years ago.
For this version I used the famous Twixtor plugin, which I didn't have much knowledge about and I used it without knowing how it works in a previous contest xd.
But these 2 years I have been studying it and we will see how you work baby!

Комментарий автора: So, usually when I abandon a project I just completely stop and usually archive it to look at later. This time is a bit different, I wanted to "complete" this video just so I could move on. I got tired of working on it and really didn't want to put forth any effort to try to improve it.
This was an idea that's been in my head for awhile and when I heard of the 2017 "remake" of Kino's journey I wanted to take a crack at it. Also, I needed a video to submit to NDK and the idea for the video seemed simple enough to complete in the three weeks I had before the deadline. Boy was I wrong.
I kind of wish I could have made the entire video using footage from the newer series, the art style between the two is so radically different. I also wish I could have done a better job of finding a way to separate footage between the two series. My fear was constantly cutting between the two would be a bit confusing and inconsistent.
Unfortunately my desire to make those changes no longer exists so this video is what it is.

Итак, продолжаем путешествие в "незалитые" бредни.
Клип 2013ого года, создан для конкурса AMV на Хигане. Со странной целью, к слову, чтоб как бы поприсутствовать на фесте, чтоб не совсем в холостую и чтоб посмотреть реакцию на ОЧЕНЬ затянутые титры. Прям издевательски затянутые. И хочу сказать, это было действительно забавным экспириенсом.
В остальном же, просто крайне обыкновенная нарезка в вегасе "под биток". За пару дней, по анимешке в 20 минут. К слову, шикарной анимешке, она меня в первую очередь и сподвигла сделать какой-никакой клип.

Здесь должна была быть сопливая романтика, но нет :D Итак, история разворачивается в научном исследовательском центре, где двое ученых исследуют сны с помощью прототипа своего "манипулятора" снами. Этот аппарат позволяет контролировать сны и вытаскивать потайные страхи человека. Частично идея взята из "Паприки", но не судите строго, предположим, что это альтернативная история)) Рада поучаствовать в этом замечательном конкурсе, всем приятного просмотра :3

До просмотра Магистра, я не была фанатом китайского аниме (донхуа), но внезапно им стала. Еще и новеллу прочитала залпом за пару дней. Вот как иногда что-то может затянуть и не отпускать :)
Вэй Усянь - просто магнит для любых бед. Ему ничего искать не надо, неприятности всегда найдут его сами. Еще несколько лет назад он был веселым и добрым мальчишкой, пока не восстал клан Вэнь и не вырезал его родной клан Юнмэн Цзян. Раны, что никогда не затянутся, неприрывно ноют в память о прошлом. Он не хотел становиться на путь темного заклинательства. Его вынудили.

My motivation behind the video:
This video is really personal because of the themes involved in it. I won't go too into detail with its meaning since I did make it with the intention of making the interpretation flexible. I essentially wanted to make a video about mental health and dealing with mental health issues in a way that is not self-destructive. I often see people either belittling mental health problems or glorifying them, and I wanted to make a video that avoided stretching into either territory. Mental health issues should not be shamed, but they are still issues that should be at least managed in as healthy of a way as possible. I was inspired to approach the subject this way due to my own ongoing journey with my mental health problems, and while I definitely still have a long way to go, I have certainly come a long way too.
The process of making the video:
Oh boy, so this video has been on a journey. I originally started this general concept right after the first season finished with a different song. I knew I'd have better footage if I waited for the second, so I did. Unfortunately, the first song I tried didn't work out, and there were several different song combinations with this anime I attempted afterword for about a year and a half before I settled on this one in early December. Since then, I have reworked the video 4 different times before settling on the direction I ended up taking with it.

Комментарий автора: I just wanted to say this anime looks amazing, I watched it all and was amazed by the characters and I like how it brought me that Toradora feeling! I missed those types of anime and that's why I decided to do something with it :) The song is my favorite, especially the Illenium remix because it gives it more of an emotional touch. Don't worry about any spoilers because I didn't follow the exact story in the anime but rather used the later episode even in the first scene :D This took me around... 1-3 weeks? It took long because I was waiting for the episode to be release but other than that, I reallllly enjoyed making this! I tried my best to make it smooth as possible and I hope you like it! Sorry for the no upload during the 3 weeks, but I got more amv done so I will be uploading it this week yayy
